І. Організаціонний момент.Привітання.

• Hello, pupils!
• I am glad to meet you and great you too!

Tell me please:

• What date is it today?
• What’s the weather like today?

II. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Today we have got new topic. Look at the photos I’ve got and guess the topic.(family photos can be used)

Yes,you’re right. Our new topic is “My friends and We all need friends”

Take a ball and answer some questions:

• Do you have friends?
• How many friends do you have?
• What’s your best friend’s name?
• Have you got any problems with your friends?

III. Основна частина уроку.

1. Look at the blackboard and write down new words into your vocabularies:

1. To be  upset with
2. To be scared of
3. To laugh at
4. To hit smb. On the head
5. To be good at smth.
6. To bully

2. Sit on the carpet(or if there is any,sit in a circle,work in groups) and take the cards,read and translate the problems pupils can face at school and some ways of solving these problems:

The kids don’t want to play with me.

I have problems with some boys in my class.

The kids laugh at me.

The kids hate me,because I’m good studying.

She says she is sorry.

The boys try to take my pocket money.

My parents speak to the teacher.

The teacher speaks to the boys and their parents.

3. Now take cards, read the letter from Susan and what other pupils advice her.(p.38)

4. Now divide into pairs( take cards of different colour or numbers) and make up sentences(p.39):

6. Work in the same roups and decide what advice to give Susan.Write a short answer using the example on p.39.
