I. Організаційний момент (2–3 хв) Good morning, children!

How are you today?

Let’s start our lesson about animals!

II. Warm-up (5 хв)

Ігрова розминка «Guess the animal»

Teacher imitates the sound of an animal: “Moo! …” Pupils guess: “Cow!” Список звуків і тварин:

Moo – cow

Meow – cat

Woof – dog

Oink – pig

Quack – duck

Neigh – horse

III. Presentation of New Vocabulary (8 хв)

Animals cat – кіт dog – собака cow – корова pig – свиня horse – кінь duck – качка sheep – вівця rabbit – кролик bird – птах

Вправа: показати картку → учні повторюють слово.

IV. Practice (10 хв)

1.Simon Says

“Simon says touch your cat!” (point to picture)

“Simon says show me a pig!”

Виконують тільки команди з “Simon says”.

2.Match the word and picture

Учні отримують картки і з’єднують слово з правильною тваринкою.

V. Listening and Speaking (7 хв)

Teacher: “I have four legs and say ‘Woof’. What am I?”

Pupils: “A dog!”

Teacher: “I say ‘Moo’. I give milk. What am I?”

Pupils: “A cow!”

VI. Game / Physical Activity (5 хв)

Animal Race

Учні стоять у колі або рядами.

Teacher calls: “Run like a rabbit!” / “Walk like a duck!” Діти повторюють рухи тварини.

VII. Pupil Production (5 хв) Pupils make simple sentences:

“This is a cat.”

“I like dogs.”

“A cow is big.”

VIII. Summary (3 хв)

Let’s repeat all the animals together! Who remembers all the animals?

IX. Homework

Draw 5 animals and write their names in English.
