1.2. Постановка мети

T: I’m fine, thank you. Some days ago our Svetlana Vasilevna cleaned in our cellar and found this suitcase. I took it because I like old things. They contain many interesting and useful information.And at this lesson I’d like to discover something interesting for everyone.

P: I think its owner is a traveller.

Starobelsk.

        If you visit Starobelsk, you won’t be bored in this town. There are lots of places, one should visit while his staying in Starobelsk. If you want to spend a gorgeous day, go to Starobelskpark which is situated in the city centre where you’ll find different kinds of entertainment which will be to your taste.

 Merry-go-round

      Families with children and those who just love joyful rides are suggested to ride on an exciting merry-go-round. You can sit on elephants, deer, camels, or even on the wooden benches and spend 5 unforgettable minutes riding and waving to your relatives. It’s fantastic at any age.

      Fountain

Every visitor to Starobelsk should definitely take some excellent photos at the fountain which is made in a form of a stone flower. The water coming of it, may cool everybody on a hot summer day.

The Café

If you are hungry, don’t forget to attend the park’s café. It has a picturesque location on the banks of the Aidar. You can try delicious food and superb ice-cream with fruits on top at reasonable prices. You’ll enjoy the chef’s cutlets – they are mouthwatering.

The Stadium

For those who love jogging in the mornings there’s a well-equipped stadium, situated near the park. You can do some exercises, take part in playing football or volleyball or just watch a game.

The Disco

      Don’t know where to spend your evening? So, come to the disco to dance or listen to live music.

The GreenPark

Admirers of concerts are welcomed to the GreenPark where all the town events are held. You can watch a play on its stage, listen to live music or see a show.

 

Look at these people. May be they are our traveller’s friends. Let’s give them some pieces of advice.

What place would be the most suitable for each person.

 

 

P: Ann should visit the stadium because she wants to keep fit and likes running.

 

    I advise Tom and Sarah to go to the park and ride on the exciting merry-go-round because    they have got children. And all children love joyful rides on deer, elephants and camels.

 

I recommend Jim and Susie to visit the park’s café because it has a picturesque location on the banks of the Aidar. Jim and Susie love meat so at this café they can enjoy the chef’s cutlets.

 

The disco is for Kate because she loves music and dancing. And there she can find some new friends.
