1.          Pre-listening stage.

Today we will study the parts of body.

1. Have you already know any parts of  body?

Look at the blackboard and listen how to pronounce it

(a big chart is on the board).

Repeat after me ( 2 times ).

II. While listening stage.

2. Let's listen to a song (video material ).

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

 Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

 Knees and toes.

Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

 Knees and toes.

And eyes, and ears, and mouth,

 And nose.

Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

 Knees and toes.

Place both hands on parts of body as they are mentioned. Move like children in the cartoon.

3. Draw the boy with colored pencils the parts of  body you head

(teacher gives the pictures to every pupil).

4. Use the words you head into a short dialogue

( work in pairs ).

5. Describe your neighbor at the desk

( other children in that time carefully listen to their friend and correct errors of  his/her pronunciation ).

6. Listen the song again.

Comlete the words ( teacher says and children continue ):

No…, ey…, mou…, to…, kn…, he…, le…, fi…, han…, ea…, sho… .

7. Make words from the letters you heard

( teacher or some pupil names the letters ).

8. Let’s have a break for some physical warm up.

Touch your head, head, head,

  Touch your arms, arms, arms,

  Touch your legs, legs, legs,

  Touch your feet, feet, feet,

  Touch your toes, toes, toes,

  And don’t forget to touch your nose!

III. Post-listening stage.

 9. Please, look at the picture and clap your hands when you will hear right name.

10. Relive the sun: draw his body parts and name it.
