Урок з англійської мови у 10 класі

Тема : «School»,

            «School Parliament».

Тип уроку: урок-конференція з елементами методики СОУП(самоорганізація учнівського процесу)

Objectives:  - to revise and enrich pupil’s vocabulary on the topics: “Extra school         activities”, “School food”, “At PE lesson”, “School rules”

 Мета:          (повторити і закріпити ЛО по темах.)

          - to develop listening, speaking and writing skills;

             (розвивати навички слухання, говоріння та письма.)

          - to develop pupil’s skills in expressing opinions, giving suggestions and arguments;

            (розвивати навички виражати свої думки та вміти їх аргументувати.)

          - to form pupil’s abilities of critical thinking;

            (формувати навички критичного мислення.)

          - to bring up the culture of communication, friendly and tolerant attitude to each other,      to teachers and school;

            (виховувати культуру спілкування, дружелюбне та толерантне ставлення один до одного, вчителів та школи.)       

Equipment: a laptop, screen and a projector for pupil’s presentations, cards with writing tasks, the video “The ideal School”.

Обладнання до уроку: ноутбук, екран та проектор для учнівських презентацій, письмові завдання на картках, ватман, кольорові фломастери для проекту “The ideal school”, відео.

І. Організація класу:

    Привітання, повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

    The motto of our lesson is “The more we learn the more we know.”

But one Chinese proverb says:  “I hear and I forget

                                                     I see and I remember

                                                     I do and I understand.”

 Answer the questions “Why do children go to school?”  and “What is school for you?”

II. Warming up: guess 2-3 nouns or adjectives associated with         P           Cl

 the word “school”:

III. The main part of the lesson:

 1). Checking of the “Pupils’ presentations about School Parliament”.

 Imagine that we are in a Parliament building and we are going to listen to Ministers reports about our school. We have some journalists from our local newspapers “High Castle” and “Express.” Their tasks are to write the article about our school. And I invite two famous art-designers to create a project of ideal school.

    -  Pupils’ thoughts about the European school.
