Дана розробка містить інформацію про традиції української кухні і сприяє розвитку усного мовлення.

Тема:  Українська кухня.

Мета: Повторити тематичну лексику.

           Продовжувати формування комунікативних вмінь учнів.

           Вдосконалювати навички читання.

           Розвивати пізнавальний інтерес, пам’ять,увагу, чуття мови.

           Прищеплювати усвідомлення важливості  правильного харчування для       здоров’я людини.

Обладнання: ноутбук, плазмовий телевізор,слайди з українськими стравами, картки зі стравами (НО1), картки з описом страв (НО2),картки з прислів’ями (НО3), підручник.

Хід уроку

І Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1 Привітання. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T: Have a nice day. How are you? Do you have a good mood? Aren’t you hungry? Have you got a tasty breakfast today?                                                                    

 2 Повідомлення  теми та мети уроку.

 T: Today we are going to talk about Ukrainian cuisine and if it is possible to eat healthy food nowadays and be healthy. Food plays an important role in the life of people. We need food to live. We need it to be strong and healthy. We need food when we are nervous. Ukrainians cannot imagine their lives without a slice of salo or borshch .

3 Фонетична розминка.

T: Before we start our discussion have a look at the blackboard where you can see the proverb: “An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away.” How do you understand this proverb?

4 Мовна розминка.

T: Now I want you to answer some questions.

Can you name:

1 one red fruit, one yellow fruit and one green fruit?

                    2 two products that a strict vegetarian doesn`t eat?

                    3 three kinds of food which are made from milk?

                    4 four products people eat between meals?

5 five vegetables you can put in a salad?

6 Are you hungry?

7 Do you like cooking?

8 Is cooking an art or a dull duty for you?

9 A dish may be tasty or not very. What does it depend on?

II Основна частина уроку.

1) Повторення лексичного матеріалу.

Демонстрація 2 слайду презентації « Українська кухня».

T: Let`s revise words connected with food. Read and find the odd word out:

a) water, coke, bread, wine, juice;

b) boil, bake, fry, bowl, grill;

c)salty, pepper, spicy, sweet, bitter;

d) dish, meal, bowl, plate, cup;

e) slice, cut, chop, stew, peel;

f) potato, carrot, plum, cabbage, beet.

2) Розвиток навичок аудіювання.

Завдання на картках (НО2).

T: You have received the description of some courses and the task is to guess and name the dish (a-h). Read and name it, take the picture and stick it on the board.

  1. It is a brawn made from boiling pigs' trotters?. The meat is picked off the bone and the gravy sets around it into a jelly as it cools, served with horseradish or mustard.
  2. Pancakes, often made with milk for a lighter batter. Thinner pancakes are called nalysnyky, which are rolled and served with a stuffing, usually fruit or jam.
  3. Cabbage rolls stuffed with rice and vegetables, or possibly with spiced minced meat, and stewed slowly in the oven.
  4. Soup based on beetroot with meat and other vegetables; served with sour cream. There are many regional varieties.
  5. Pork fat - no description of Ukrainian cuisine would be complete without it. Ukrainians like their pigs to be fat for it. Spices are rubbed into the skin. It's eaten in thin slices on black bread with garlic and salt. Especially delicious is the smoked version.
  6. Ravioli-like pasta stuffed with potato, cabbage, mushrooms,  meat or cheese, or with cherries as a sweet dish.
  7. A domestic sausage, but it can't be called saliami. The only way to sample true home-prepared sausage is by experiencing it for yourself with the sights and smells of the markets of Ukraine.
  8. Pancakes made from grated potatos and flour, fried and served with sour cream.

III Заключна частина уроку .

1) Підведення підсумків.

 а)Робота з картками в групах (НО3).

T: There are a lot of proverbs connected with food. On the cards you can read the parts of these proverbs. You have to match them.

1. Every cook praises...                              a) over the spilt milk.

2. Dry bread at home is better...                  b) lessen your meals. 

3. Too many cooks...                                   c) than roast meat abroad.

4. Half a loaf is                                           d) his own broth.

5. There is no use crying...                          e) better than none.

6. To lengthen your life,                          f) spoil the broth (soup).

б)Робота з наочністю біля дошки.

T: The last slide depicts fast food and healthy food. Answer some questions: Is it possible to be healthy nowadays? Is healthy eating a challenge? What  is good and bad about fast food and healthy food? Write your arguments under the

pictures.

 

2) Домашнє завдання

T: At home write the receipt of your favourite dish.
