Phone rang nobody laughed

Made a sandwich passed it

Had a shower mended it

Lost my passport heard a strange noise

The printer broke found it later

Forgot her birthday washed my hair

      Took my driving test              went to bed

  Told a joke answered it

Students listen to CD and check their answers.

5. Pair work( with cards)

Prepare questions from the cues.

The students ask and answer one by one.

Student A

Mr and Mrs Harman arrived home at……… ( when?).Zoe was staying with friends.She felt……… ( How?) because her parents would be furious with her.

Her parents started to………  (What?).Then they phoned Zoe and told her ….(What?).Zoe got back home at two in the morning.She said……… (What?) and she promised that she would never have another party.
