1️ ORGANISATIONAL MOMENT (1–2 хв)

Good morning, everyone!

I’m glad to see you today.

How are you?

Great. Let’s start our lesson. Please, sit down.

Are you ready to think, speak and act today?

 

2️  ENGAGE (Warm-up) — залучення (5 хв)

Look at the pictures on the board.

Take a few seconds and think.

 

What can you see in these pictures?

What problems do they show?

Do you think our planet is healthy today? Why / why not?

Who is responsible for these problems: nature or people?

3️ LEAD-IN (2 хв)

Thank you for your ideas.

Today we are going to talk about our planet and its problems.

By the end of the lesson, you will be able to speak about environmental problems and say what we can do to protect our planet.

Let’s revise some important words from the topic “Planet Earth.”

Please, open your books at Unit 5.1.

Look at the words.
