Вікторина на тему “Їжа”

Мета:

•              Практична: повторити вивчені лексичні одиниці до теми; · Освітня:  перевірити рівень мовної та мовленнєвої компетенції за темою;

•              Розвиваюча: розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію; ·Виховна : виховувати культуру спілкування.

Обладнання:  Дошка, ноутбук, мультімедійний проектор, лексичні картки до теми, картки для індивідуальної роботи.

Хід уроку

1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

•        Привітання.

Good afternoon, children! How are you today?

•        Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Today we'll check your knowledge on the topic “ Food and Drinks”. We'll play games and do quizzes. (слайд 1)

•        Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу Гра “Noughts and Crosses”.

Учитель малює на дошці основу для гри “Хрестики-нулики”. Учні розподіляються на 2 команди: “хрестики” й “нулики”. Кожна команда по черзі обирає число, а вчитель читає відповідне запитання. Якщо гравці відповідають на запитання, то вчитель замість цифри ставить значок команди, що дала відповідь: х або 0. Перемагає команда, яка має три хрестики або нулики поряд. Запитання:

1.     What food gives us a lot of vitamines? (Fruit and vegetables)

2.     Finish the proverb: “Good Health is...”. (above wealth)

3.     How many meals can you name? What are they? (Breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper)

4.     If a person doesn't eat well we say: “He is...”. (a poor eater)

5.     What is the earliest meal of the day? (Breakfast)

6.     What is the latest meal of the day? (Supper)

7.     What food helps you to grow? (meat, fish, milk)

8.     A traditional British food is fish and... (chips)

9.     In Britain, people say \'chips\', but in America they say …(French fries)

2. Основна частина уроку

•        Поділ учнів на команди та пояснення правил гри-вікторини.

•        Завдання №1 (слайд 2) Give a general word plum, banana, orange, lemon, apricot---    (fruit) carrot, potato,cucumber, tomato, cabbage---  (vegetables) tea, coffee, juice, water---  (drinks) soup, cheese, butter, bread, meat--- (meal)

•        Завдання №2. Завдання на картках.

Вчитель роздає кожній команді картки, де написані назви продуктів харчування, але тільки половина слова. Команди повинні з'єднати картки, щоб отримати слово. Хто найшвидше зробить отримає додатково бал. За кожне правильне слово- бал.

•        Фізкультхвилинка (слайд 3) Touch  your  shoulders!

Touch  your  nose!

Touch  your  ears!

Touch  your  toes!

Hands  up!

Hands  down!

Hands  on  your  hips! And  sit  down!

•        Завдання №3. A basket

Завдання на карточці, один учень з кожної команди йде, витягає загадку та намагається її відгадати. І так по черзі, поки не скінчаться питання. Кожна правильна відповідь-1 бал.

- I have a basket.  You have to put some food into the basket but what food you have to guess.  Take the envelope and guess the riddles about food.

   It’s a vegetable. It’s round and yellow.        It makes you cry when you try.  (An onion)

  It's a long, orange vegetable. Rabbits like it.       (A carrot)

  It’s white. You like to drink it.        We get it from the cow.  (A milk)

  It’s not a vegetable, not a fruit.

        It is cold and sweet. It is made of milk. (An ice-cream)

  It’s oval and green.

         It’s a vegetable. (A cucumber).

  It is long and yellow fruit. It is sweet and tasty. It grows in the tree.          Monkeys like to eat it. (A banana).

  It is a vegetable. It is red.

       (A tomato).

  It is yellow, round and sour. (A lemon)

• Завдання №5 (виконується за бажанням вчителя, як додаткове)

These stripes are for you. Put the sentences in the correct order to make up a recipe. Work in groups. Then read your recipes.

Group 1. –Potatoes with meat.

Wash potatoes, carrot and an onion.

Peel the vegetables.

Chop the onion and the carrot, and cut the potatoes into pieces.

Fry the onion and the carrot.

Cut the meat into pieces and fry it for some time.

Put the meat and vegetables into the pot.

Add some boiled water, salt and pepper and stew.

 Group   2 . – Pizza.

Make a paste of the yeast, milk and flour.

Left the paste for an hour.

Pat the paste into a round shape.

Cut tomatoes, sausages and mushrooms and put them on the paste.

Add some salt and ketchup or mayonnaise.

Slice the cheese on the top of pizza. Bake pizza for 20 minutes.
