Seasons and Weather

Draw on the board pictures of the sun shining, raindrops falling, wind blowing, snow falling and clouds. Ask the pupils to call out the appropriate descriptive weather words.

Read these short texts and ask pupils to guess what season it is.

It is hot and sunny. You wear shorts and T-shirts. You wear sandals on your feet.

Each pupil gets a picture and decides what s/he did yesterday. Then they show pictures and say to the class about this.
A student with a picture of vase can say: I put flowers in a vase. One with a picture of a cake: I made a cake.
