Цiлi  заняття:

  • навчати  непідготовленному  усному висловлювання на базі прочитаного тексту про украiнськi iмена в свiтовiй науцi.
  •  активізувати та закріпити лексичний матеріал за темою;
  • розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення
  • розвивати готовність студентів до практичного застосування практичних знань
  • поглиблювати пізнавальні інтереси студентів

Практична:

  • пiдготувати студентiв до самостiйного складання розповiдi на основi прочитанного тексту

Освітня :

  • розвивати активність студентів, залучати їх до дискусії;
  • розвивати мислення, навички щодо висловлювання власноі точки зору;

Виховна:

  • самобутність формування знань;
  • виховувати культуру спілкування іноземною мовою;

Aim    1.Повідомлення теми та мети заняття.

T.:  We are going to talk about some Ukrainians who in different times demonstrated their highest intellectual level in numerous branches of science, technology and arts.

By the end of the lesson you should learn how to work with scientific and popular text, make its plan and summary. This skill will be very helpful for you in future when you have to work with  scientific, ethnical  texts and foreign literature.

Game “Rearrange the words”.

Write the following words on the blackboard:

Rocket, climate, café, population, exhibition, space, mountain, hotel, church, astronaut,

Moon, valley, theatre, avenue, lake, forest, planet.

Explain to pupils that each word belongs to one of the three distinct categories.

Their task is to work out what the three categories are, and to rearrange the words into three groups.

Ask them to work in pairs.

The first pair to finish is the winner.
