Chant:" I am Ukrainian."

Про матеріал
Chant:"I am Ukrainian". I It can be used in the first grade of the NUS while learning the topic: "We are Ukrainians. We are Europeans" ( week #32) as well as in the second, third and fourth grades. In the first grade you can use just the first part of the chant with the pronoun "I", but the older the students are, the more pronouns you can add to the chant, to conjugate the verb "to be" and practise the verb "live" in the Present Simple Tense. For example:a) I am Ukrainian. I am from Ukraine. I live in Kyiv. I am happy today. b) He is Ukrainian. He is from Ukraine. He lives in Kyiv . He is happy today. c) We are Ukrainians. We are from Ukraine. We live in Kyiv. We are happy today. II This chant can be used for practising negative forms. For example: She isn't Ukrainian. She isn't from Ukraine. She doesn't live in Kyiv. She isn't happy today. III This chant can be used for practising the Past Simple Tense as well. For example: She wasn't Ukrainian. She wasn't from Ukraine. She didn'tt live in Kyiv. She wasn't happy that day, IV Instead of Kyiv any other name of the city or village can be used. V This chant can be used also as a warmer or a filler at different stages of the lesson. To make this chant more lively I recommend to support the chant with clapping.
