Task: Read the text and choose the correct answer (a, b or c).

Text:

 Our world differs in many ways, including holidays and traditions. For example, many people in the world celebrate Christmas on 25^th December. They usually decorate their houses or flats and get presents. But in some countries the only decoration for this holiday is a Christmas tree. People there don’t give presents to each other on this day. They do it on St. Nicholas Day.

Another famous winter holiday is St. Valentine’s Day- the time when people show their love and care to those whom they love or like. Sweethearts go to the restaurants and exchange love cards. Some couples even go to a church.

The list of holidays and traditions can be endless. However, what we all have in common is our wish to be with people who are close to us and spend time together. And holidays give us such chance.
