Aim:

навчальна: практикувати всі види мовленнєвої діяльності, ознайомити з новими лек­сичними одиницями, продовжувати тренувати учнів у вживанні граматичних часів дієслів та побудові розділових запитань.;

розвивальна: розвивати інтелектуальні та пізнавальні здібності, різні типи пам'яті — слухову, зорову, оперативну, тривалу, увагу, уяву, учити працювати в парі, групі, логічно висловлювати думку, формувати почуття гордості за свою сім'ю, розвивати соціокультурну компетенцію, розвиток навичок аудіювання;

виховна: виховувати дбайливе ставлення до членів своєї родини, культуру співбесіди, риси характеру: доброзичливість, толерантність, активність, повагу і любов до всіх членів родини, культуру спілкування, зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань.

Обладнання: картки й плакат на тему «Великдень».

T:  Today we will speak about the most important festival in the Christian calendar. It’s Easter. During our lesson today, we are going to speak about Easter and the traditions connected with this holiday. We will also practice grammar tenses and do exercises? Have some listening.

1) Your homework was writing the composition “How my family celebrate Easter”   «Як моя родина святкує Великдень». Учні  читають декілька творів.

4. Уведення в іншомовну  атмосферу.

It is a great pity, but we do not have a motto of our lesson yet. Let us make the motto. Are you ready? I am glad that you are. However, it is not easy because all letters in our motto are mixed. You should unscramble the words. Літери перемішані порізані, клас розділено на 3 групи.

It is an English proverb. You have made a new step of learning English. Nevertheless, we can make this proverb over:

                                – Do you like holidays?

                                   –What is your favourite holiday?

                                   –Do you like presents?

Учні  отримують картки для  самостійної роботи  (НО1).  Необхідно прочитати визначення та скласти з поданих літер відповідне слово. Учень, який першим впорається із завданням, записує складені слова на дошці.

1. Читання. 

1. Подання тексту для читання.  Впр. 2 (с. 59).

1) Pre-Reading Activity. Етап  підготовки до читання.

Бесіда з учнями.

T: What do you know about Easter? When is this holiday celebrated? What do people do on this holiday? What food is traditional on this holiday? Do you have any family traditions to celebrate this holiday?

На кожне запитання відповідає по кілька учнів.

2) Reading. .

Учні самостійно читають текст, доповнюючи його  реченнями, поданими у рамці. Час роботи   5  хвилин. По закінченні виконання завдання учні  ланцюжком читають доповнений текст вправи по 2—3  речення.

3) Post-Reading Activity. Етап  перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

а) Учні  отримують картки для  самостійної роботи  (НО2)  і складають запитання з поданих слів. По закінченні роботи  вони  ланцюжком читають запитання.

Учні  самостійно письмово виконують завдання вправи протягом 3—4 хвилин. По закінченні роботи  учні  ланцюжком читають доповнені запитання.

T - Let’s talk about Easter. As you know, On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches. Christians believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

People usually sing Easter songs. The most popular song is “Easter song”.
