Урок 

Тема: Family relationship

Підтема:  Дружна сім’я – запорука взаєморозуміння і благополуччя у родині.

Цілі:

Практична:  навчати іншомовного спілкування, викорис­товуючи проблемні комунікативні ситуації; формувати й удосконалювати вміння та навички аудіювання;  удосконалю­вати комунікативні вміння та навички; активізувати вживання тематичних лексичних одиниць у мовленні.

Освітня: Розширювати філологічний світогляд учнів. Збагачувати знання учнів з теми «Family relationship».

Розвиваюча: Розвивати фонематичний слух учнів, довготривалу, оперативну пам'ять, слуховий контроль, культуру читання, здатність самостійно планувати мовний вчинок, вміння логічно, послідовно висловлювати думки іноземною мовою.

Виховна: Виховувати інтерес до навчання, до вивчення іноземної мови, культуру спілкування, повагу до батьків.

Обладнання: Підручник (Карп’юк О. Англійська мова, 2019), аудіо запис тексту, презентація PowerPoint, розмовні фрази, скоромовка, прислів’я, тематичні малюнки.

Тип уроку: урок практичного застосування знань, навичок і умінь.

Хід уроку

Етап 1. Початок уроку. Організація класу. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

Мета: Залучити учнів до роботи на уроці

Прийом: Вітання, бесіда

T.: Good afternoon, dear friends! I am very glad to see you! I hope that everybody is in order. Are you fine today?

 Aim. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

T.;Look at the board and try to guess the topic of our lesson. ( Слайд 1. на дошці слова, учні читають та перекладають їх українською мовою, учитель звертає увагу учнів на початкові літери, )  Look at the capital letter of each word and make up the theme of our lesson.  Yes, exactly – it is “Family relationship”.

  Family is very important in the life of any person, isn’t it?

T.:   We  will speak and learn more about happy and unhappy families, about relationship between parents and children. We also will discuss the  reasons of conflicts in families  and how to avoid them.

   You will  read  texts, listen to a very famous song by Pink “Family portrait”   have discussion. At the end of the lesson you  will present your ideas about a family of your dream.

Мета: Ввести учнів у іншомовне середовище за темою уроку

Прийом: Робота з  висловами.

T.: Read the saying and comment upon it! (Слайд 4)

 “Having a place to go - is a home.  Having someone to love - is a family. 
Having both - is a   blessing.”

T.: What are your ideas? Do you agree with it ?

T. ; Which proverbs,  idioms or sayings about family do you know?

 T.: Now I want you to discuss the fallowing sayings in pairs. Which of them do you agree with? Which of them do you like the most? ( Робота з картками) Cлайд 10

Етап 3. Фонетичне тренування учнів

Мета: Удосконалювати вимову учнів

T.: You remember that pronunciation is very important, isn’t it? Let us practice the tongue-twister! (Слайд 5)

If many men know what many men knew

The life will be better. I think so. Don’t you?

Don’t trouble troubles until troubles trouble you.

Етап 4.  Прийом гронування . (Слайд 6)

T.; Family. Which words are asossiated  with it? Look at the board and complete the sheme. ( quarrels, problems, conflicts, cry, sadness,  violence, intolerance  )

Етап 5. Учбова дискусія

Мета: Практикувати учнів в усному мовленні (Слайд 8)

T.: Do you get on well with your family members? Why/why not?

Do you respect your parents? Why/ why not?

Can you rely on your parents? Why/ why not?

Are there any conflicts in your family? What are the reasons of them?

1. Етап 6. Тренування у вживанні вивченої  лексики  з теми.

Мета: Практикувати учнів у роботі з текстом, вживаючи відповідні  ЛО . (textbook page 88 ex.1)

T. : Now I offer you to read and complete the text with the words from the box.

Pre- reading activity (Бесіда) T-Ps

1) Ps look at the pictures and describe them.

T.: What is common for all these pictures? (Ps: conflicts)

T.; Who are quarreling? (Ps.: Parents, parents and children)

T.; Are these families happy?

2) Ps read and translate words from the box.

3) Unknown words (bitter rivals, hasty, a prejudice) (Слайд 9)

While – reading Activity ( Ps complete the text and read it one by one)

Post – reading Activity

T.; What are the reasons of the conflicts?

    For what can these conflicts lead? (for violence or even war)

Етап 7.  Тренування учнів в аудіюванні тексту.

Мета: Розвивати  навички сприйняття тексту на слух. Розвивати навички ведення дискусії за змістом почутого.

  Pre- listening activity ( Бесіда в режимі T- Ps)

T.: I hope you like listening to music, don’t you? Have you ever listened to  the song “Family portrait” by Pink? What is it about?  Is this song about happy family?  Now I offer you to look at the clip to this song and then discuss the  problems which described in it.

While –listening activity

Ps look at the clip and listen to the song.

Post- listening activity.

Ps answer teachers questions: (Слайд 11)

• What is the problem in the family?
• Who are responsible for the conflict?
• Why is the little girl crying?
• What does she promise the  parents?
• What does the girl not want?
• What is she  dreaming about?
• Ps look through the context of the song and answer the questions if there are some problems.
• T: Do you get on well with your parents?
• Look at the board and answer the question in a group. Слайд 12

Етап 8 Розвиток навичок говоріння .

Мета: Практикувати учнів в усному мовленні з елементами ведення дискусії.

T.: How do think  parents can influence on future of their  children? How? (Бесіда в режимі T –Ps)

Етап 9. Розвиток навичок письма.

Мета: Практикувати учнів  логічно  грамотно  висловлювати думку   у письмовій формі.  

Ex 5 p. 91

T.: Divide into two groups. The first one writes the list of the ways to describe successful relations in the family. The second group writes the list of the ways to describe unsuccessful relationships.

Ps present their ideas in the class.

T  Now let’s speak about a happy family. Is it easy to be  a such one?  Many British families have so called  the family charter with the rules which they must follow . Let’s look at ex 4/ p/ 91, read and express your ideas on the charter. (Ps read  and discuss it)

T.:-  Do you like a such Family charter? Why not?

 - Which  ideas do you like the most?

- What would you add?

- If all members of the family fallow these rules, will it be a happy family?

- How do you imagine an ideal family?

Етап 10 Check on homework

T.: At home you had to prepare some ideas about your ideal family.
