Гра-змагання «Intellectual Marathon».

 

Виховний захід  «Intellectual Marathon».

 

    Форма проведення: гра-змагання.

 

Мети гри:

1.  Розвивати непідготовлену мову учнів.

2.  Розвивати креативні  здатності учнів.

3.  Виховувати інтерес до вивчення предмета.

4.  Узагальнити  країнознавчі  знання  учнів,  отримані  на  уроках  англійської  мови.  

Освітні завдання: 

     1.  У  ході  творчої,  самостійної,  індивідуальної  й  групової  роботи  з

дидактичними матеріалами закріпити знання учнів по вивчених темах («Тварини», «Числівники»,  «Магазин»,  «СК  Великобританії  й  Північної  Ірландії»  і  ін.)  і розширити загальний кругозір.

Розвиваючі завдання: 

1.  Розвивати вміння працювати в колективі й приймати спільне рішення; 

2.  Розвивати позитивні особистісні якості (відповідальність, доброзичливість,

почуття взаємодопомоги).

3.  Розвивати й тренувати увагу, пам'ять, мислення.

Виховні завдання:

1. Виховувати повагу до культури своєї країни й країн досліджуваної мови.

 Оформлення кабінету:

     На дошці назва гри «Інтелектуальний марафон», прапори  англомовних країн, карта СК Великобританії й Північної Ірландії, правила гри, квадрат із цифрами, перелік конкурсів.

I.  Організаційний момент. Вітання ведучого.

 

Quiz-master: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called “ Intellectual Marathon”. Two teams  will take  part  in  a  game  of  the  most  quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1

St team?

P1: I'm the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Erudites”. Our motto is “Enjoy English!”

Quiz-master: Who is the captain of the 2nd team?

P2: I'm the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Optimists”. Our motto is

“Learn English!”.

Now I'm going to teach you how to play this game. The game has 8 contests, they are:

Quiz-master: And now we come to the 1st contest of the game called “The ABC game”.

Kids, you'll get some letters from the English alphabet. You must put the letters in the right order, so as to get the name of the English-speaking country. You have 1 minute at your disposal. Each team can get 5 points.

Quiz-master: And now we come to the 2^nd  contest which is called “A magic 5”. Look at the square, each team will take turns in answering questions. You'll choose any number.

“ ...”, it's your turn to start.  Captains will have an opportunity to choose the number.

You can get 5 points for the right answer.

It’s very important to make the right choice in our life: the right choice of a color, a hobby, a friend etc. Each team should answer my questions. You’ll get the cards with the letters a, b, c. Choose the right answer and show us the card.

III.  Заключний етап. Підведення підсумків гри.

 

Quiz-master: Friends, do you like music? Listen to the song “Do You Live in London?”' now and sing with British children. Our jury will add up the score of the game.

Jury: The score is ... to ... in smb's favour. The team “...” is the winner.
