Subtopic: Describing food
Overview: Before the lesson: Students will receive a pre-lesson task to learn food/cooking vocabulary using Quizlet, to gather information about their favorite food and to watch a video to know how to work with Jamboard.
During the lesson: Students will engage in interactive activities, discussions, collaborative tasks related to cooking food, practice in group work, receive feedback from their peers.
After the lesson: Students will complete a post-lesson task to reflect on their learning and apply it to a real-life context.
Aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe their favorite dish and write about the process of cooking and also to develop their digital literacy skills by using online resources and speaking skills through discussions.
Outcomes: Students will be able to apply oral, written and visual communication skills to present the process of cooking; to analyze the work of their peers
Digital literacy:Students will learn to navigate websites, search for relevant information, critically evaluate online sources:Quizlet,Jamboard, Learningapps,Canva,Loom/Vocaroo

Procedure:
Introduction
Task 1.
Scan QR code and have a vote on Mentimeter ( https://www.menti.com/altngwye82u3) : What is your favorite dish?
Then discuss what ingredients they need for their dishes, encouraging students to share their pre-lesson task findings with the class. Students describe their favorite dish using related vocabulary they prepared.
Main part
Task 2.
Put students into 3 breakout rooms and do tasks in Jamboard. Then visit the slide of another group to check their tasks and put tick if everything is correct and cross if not (using the color of their group) https://jamboard.google.com/d/1MuDAlYnPYA7uykCmhhNVo5buDs-KUMYzAFFL1nFc1FY/viewer?f=2
Then bring students back into the main room to look through the slides to check.
Task 3
Demonstrate your screen with the task https://learningapps.org/watch?v=p2w0wkpgj23 , where learners can see a jumbled recipe.
Ss should put them in the correct order and write numbers in a zoom chat. Then check together and those who coped with the task raise their hand icon.
Task 4

Then bring students back into the main room and listen to the presentation of each group.
Conclusion
- thank Ss for their work
- propose Ss to choose an emoji icon to describe how they feel and to explain their choice
- ask what was difficult or easy for them in the lesson
Post lesson task:
Make a recipe using Canva or record a video/audio with the help of Loom/Vocaroo.
