Nowadays people are so informed about how to live healthier and loner due to numerous adverts on TV, live food shows or even special stickers in the supermarkets. That is why it has become so popular to choose what to eat.
Let’s have a look at everyday’s menu. A nutritionist claims that a usual breakfast should be both light and substantial. The best solution for breakfast is a bowl of cereals with milk, pancakes with cottage cheese and sour cream or some sausage sandwiches with a cup of tea. What is a must for lunch then? Is a sandwich with a cup of tea good for our health? Undoubtedly, if we treat ourselves with a plate of meat, fish or vegetable soup, it will not be a mistake. Any day of the week, dinner is the biggest meal. There is a set of meals which you never go wrong with. Baked potatoes, pickled vegetables, grilled fish or roast chicken bring everyone necessary proteins and minerals.
Of course, to be healthy we need not only proteins and minerals. We should remember about vitamins, which we can find in fruit and vegetables. Vitamin C can be found in lemons and oranges. Although it is good for our immune system, it can make our teeth healthier and whiter. Broccoli and carrots are natural curers for our eyes. If you have a headache, eat several tasty cherries.
It is impossible to live without food. A sure-fire solution is to choose and enjoy what you eat, avoid junk food and remember "All sorrows are less with bread".
Teacher: Answer the following questions:
1. What is the main thing our health depends on?
2. Why should we eat carrots and broccoli?

4. What food can we find vitamin C?
