Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку
Intellectual game: “In The World of English”
Мероприятие имеет большую познавательную ценность.
Мероприятие ставит перед собой цель - воспитать интерес к изучению английского языка, повысить мотивацию учащихся к предмету.
Цель мероприятия:
-обобщить изученный материал по теме: «Великобритания»;
-актуализировать страноведческий материал;
-повысить интерес учащихся к изучению иностранного языка и стране изучаемого языка;
-расширить лингвистический кругозор и эрудицию учащихся;
-расширить лексический запас учащихся по теме: «Великобритания»;
-развивать внимание и логическое мышление, память;
-воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи;
-воспитывать умения работать в команде;
-воспитывать культуру общения;
Оборудование: название темы( на доске),плакаты с кроссвордами, задания для команд на карточках, грамоты;
Ход мероприятия:
I. Организационный момент:
1.Вступительное слово учителя:
-Hello, my dear boys and girls! I am glad to meet you!
-It’s special day today. It’s the first day of the week of foreign language in our school, as you know. There will be plenty of interesting competitions, activities and a concert.
-And we’ll have an unusual lesson too.
- All children like to play! That’s why we’ll play the game: ”In the world of English” today.
-There are two teams in our classroom and we have 3 members of our jury today.
-The first team is called “The smartest ”and its captain is Ann Andrianova.
-Introduce your team!
- The second team is called “The Quickest ”and its captain is Dima Korablin.
-Introduce your team!
-The members of our jury are:
-Natalia Isayeva -the school headmaster.
Svetlana Pechena-the teacher of English.
Galina Zheludkova-the head teacher.
-They will keep the score.

II.Основная часть урока:
- Our first game is ”Warming- up”(разминка)
Сейчас первая команда услышит вопрос, через 1 минуту вы должны ответить на него. Если вы не знаете ответ или ответили неправильно - отвечает другая команда. За 1 правильный ответ вы получаете 1 балл.
-How many letters are there in the English alphabet? (26 letters)
-When do Americans celebrate Thanksgiving Day? ( In November)
-When do English celebrate Christmas? ( In December)
-Who is my mother’s mother? ( my grandmother)
-What is Coca-Cola? ( a drink)
-What is hot-dog? (a sandwich)
-What pets are the special animals in Great Britain? (cats)
-What is the favourite topic to discuss in Great Britain? (weather)
-Which month of the year is the shortest? (May)
-My face is black

- Our second game is “The Chain” (Цепочка)
-Команда называет любое животное, например:”cow”,другая должна назвать животное на буквы “w”,потому что название этого животного заканчивается на букву”w”.

Команда, которая справиться с заданием получит 5 баллов.
- Our third game is ”What do you know about Britain?”
Сейчас первая команда услышит вопрос, через 1 минуту вы должны ответить на него. Если вы не знаете ответ или ответили неправильно - отвечает другая команда. За 1 правильный ответ вы получаете 1 балл.

4.Our fourth game is “Short Names”(Сокращенные имена)
-В повседневной жизни мы никогда не называем друг друга полным именем, чаще употребляем сокращенные. Ваша задача- соотнести полные имена с сокращенными.

Ваша задача - решить задачи. На это задание 5 минут. Максимальная оценка-6 баллов.

Twenty-two= twenty-three=
Fifteen+fifteen= fourteen+fourteen=
6. Our six game is” I can”
Каждая команда должна составить за 1 минуту как можно больше предложений с “I can”
За каждое предложение команда получит 1 балл.
7. Our seventh game is “Crosswords”
К доске выходят капитаны команд. Их задача - найти 10 слов, обозначающих цвета.
