My home Reading. Jane’s favourite room My favourite room My favourite room is my kitchen. Perhaps the kitchen is the most important room in many houses, but it is particularly so in our house. Because it‘s not only where we cook and eat. It is also the main meeting place for family and friends. It is the noisiest room in the house. So how does this special rook look like? It’s quite big, but not huge. It has a table in the center. There is a large window above the sink, which looks out onto two apple trees in the garden. The cooker is at one end. At the other end is a wall with a large notice-board, which tells the story of our lives in words and pictures: a school photo of Megan, a post card from Australia, the menu from Chinese restaurant, a wedding invitation. All our friends come straight into the kitchen and join in. The kettle goes on and we all sit round the table. Without doubt some of the happiest times of my life have been spent in our kitchen. Місце зустрічі, величезний, виходить, приєднуються, без сумніву

About my family and myself Family relationships. Problems in upbringing children When you are 16 or 17 you want to be treated like an adult, to be more independent in your actions and way of life. Young people disagree on different problems: the time to come home at night, doing work about the house, the friends to spend time with, what clothes to wear and so on. Different TV programmes and magazines for the young come to help teenagers, give a piece of advice. But it is not the way out. Parents should help their children . We need to learn to talk our problems over in our family. If we are able to do it – everything will be all right. Слова Питання

Irene:” Well, actually it’s very difficult to speak about yourself, but I’ll try. I think that I’m home-loving, kind and patient. I can get on well with people, because I try to help them and they trust me. But sometimes I’m lazy – I don’t want to do anything.” Steve:” I am practical I think, because I always try to do the work that will help me in the future. I am honest and don’t like those people who lie to me, because I always notice it and tell them about it. That’s why they say I’m tactless. I won’t argue, perhaps I am. What I don’t like about myself is that I’m sometimes bossy.” Jane:” My mother says that I’m light-minded, because I do everything without thinking. I like to take risks, because I am really risky. The feature of my character that I hate is that I’m undisciplined and my mother is always angry with mw about it. But I’m really hard-working.
