-Do you know a person who does a strange kind of sport?

Listening 2. While-listening stage.

-The first time - students are watching the videoclip about strange kinds of sport. Teacher may stop the video any time and ask a student to retell the events in a specific part of the video. Exercise 6 and 9, page 81.

Listening 3. Post-listening stage.
-Memory check. Ask students to translate unknown words that were mentioned in the pre-listening part.
-Work in pairs. Everybody is choosing one kind of sport from the video. One pupil is speaking about the benefits of this sport, another one about the drawbacks of this sport. Every person should introduce convincing arguments to prove his/her opinion.
The teacher asks students the following questions to make them quickly remember the previous material:
-In what sentences do we use some?
-Can we use any in affirmative sentences?
-What is the role of some and any in sentences?
-When do we use some in questions?
Students are divided into two teams. They do exercises in an entertaining way – using an app Baamboozle [4]. The first player from the first team chooses the number, then he/she tells the right answer. If the answer is true, the team earns some points. Only the cleverest win!
