Тема: Мій вільний час.

Мета: 1) практикувати учнів у вживанні тематичної лексики в усному

мовленні;

2) розвивати навички розгорнутого висловлювання за темою ситуації;

3) навчати груповій бесіді;

4) тренувати учнів в аудіюванні;

5) розвивати навички і вміння, потрібні для ведення розмови на рівні

природного діалогу;

6) сприяти удосконаленню комунікативних здібностей учнів;

7) сприяти прищепленню в учнів інтересу і позитивного ставлення до

мови, розуміння важливості вивчення іноземної мови.

8) формувати в учнів позитивну мотивацію до вичення англійської мови;

9) Розвивати соціокультурну компетенцію учнів.

Обладнання: підручник O. Karpiuk, аудіозапис звукового листа,роздатковий матеріал: картки із завданнями для аудіювання, письма та мовлення, комп'ютер, наглядність.

Тип уроку : урок-сюрприз(узагальнення та систематизації знань).

Procedure

I. Introduction

T: Good morning, boys and girls! Nice to see you! How are you today? It's a fine day today, isn't it? I hope you are in a fine mood too, because today we're going to have a very interesting lesson. it's a surprise lesson. You'll work in groups, have a lot of surprise tasks to do, learn more about British children pastime and practise in making invitation to the party.

T: I think you've guessed today we're going to speak about hobbies and pastimes.

 I know everybody in your form has his own hobby.

II. Warming-up

T: Let's start with the rhyme "Free Time"

 

• Stamps and postcards and badges too
• Do you collect things?
• Yes, I do.
• Tennis and football and volleyball too
• Do you play sports?
• Yes, we do.
• Piano, violin and guitar too
• Do you play an instrument?
• Yes, I do.

 

 

 

 

 

T:Now  let's revise the words we use speaking about our free time.

 

To do sports             to make new friends                   to visit place of interest

 

To learn new things                 Pastime                  to collect things

 

To travel                   to make thing                          to go cycling           

 

T: Say how people spend their free time using the sheme.

 

 

T: Well done. Thank you.

III. Main Part

1) T: I have an interesting task for you. It's a British children's letter. They've written about their pastime but some words disappear you must fill these words in the gaps.

3) It's time to the 3d surprise. I put some pictures in the envelope. Each group need to make up a story according to the pictures. All members of the group must take part in this task. You'll have 3 minutes to make up a story and 2 minutes to present it.

4) Listen to the dialogue and read it in pairs ( ex.3 p. 76)

5) Do you like parties? What do you usually do preparing to a party?

Well, it's time to the next surprise. You know that British children like to prepare different theme parties.

Now you'll have a chance to make an invitation for theme party and act the dialogue. Everything necessary for the work you'll find in the envelope. And I also give you the things to your party.

You have 4 minutes to do the task and 2 minutes for presentation

 

IV. Summarizing

1) Home assignment.

T: make an invitation for your own party, think over theme of your party, food and games, which you can propose to your guests.

2)Summarising.

 T: So, there are a lot of pastimes. As I see you like painting, doing sports, collecting, playing games, making parties. Tastes really differ!
