Тема:    MAKE MUSIC

Мета: ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО, активізувати їх вживання на практиці. Ввести модальне дієслово WELL, його вживання на прикладах. Розвивати усне мовлення учнів; виховувати повагу до музики, музичних традицій кожного народу.

Тип уроку: засвоєння нових знань.

Обладнання: презентація до уроку, музичні записи.

Tina Karol (Тіна Кароль) is a popular Ukrainian singer, one of the brightest lights in the Ukrainian music scene over the last 10 years. Her career started in 2005 and she’s still reaching the tops of Ukrainian hit parades today. 

. She first became a soloist at the Ensemble of Song and Dance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Ансамбль пісні і танцю Збройних Сил України), of all things, but then rose to fame in Ukraine when she took second place in the prestigious international New Wave music festival in 2005 and won Alla Pugacheva‘s special prize. She also released her first album, Show Me Your Love, that year; it went gold.

Her fame shot up so quickly that already in 2007 she represented Ukraine at Eurovision, taking seventh place. Her third album, released later that year, went platinum. Since that time her career has taken a more or less usual path, though simply at a higher level than many artists achieve. She’s won awards from the Ukrainian Music Awards and YUNA, another Ukrainian musical award; in 2009 she was named a Distinguished Artist of Ukraine. In 2014 a documentary film was even made about her life. She has to date released five albums, the most recent in 2014—all have gone either gold or platinum.
