Конспект уроку "School life"

Тема: Шкільне життя.

Мета: повторити та активізувати лексику теми; навчати   здобувати інформацію з текстів та працювати в групах, із роздатковим матеріалом, Навчити учнів розповідати про свої уроки , вчителів, школу, удосконалювати вміння ефективно взаємодіяти з іншими учнями в парах, групах; заохотити учнів висловлювати особисту думку

розвивати мовну здогадку, мислення, пам'ять учнів, механізми сприймання та осмислення інформації, логічного формулювання думок компетентність спілкування іноземною мовою, самостійність та уважність у виконанні практичних завдань;

виховувати любов до своєї школи, повагу до однокласників, шанобливе відношення до  вчителів та їхньої роботи.

Очікувані результати на кінець уроку: учні повинні навчитися критично осмислювати інформацію, вміти висловлювати своє відношення до школи, вчителів, однокласників.

І. Організаційний момент

Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу

Початок уроку. Організація класу. Повідомлення теми уроку і очікуваних результатів.

Прийом: бесіда з учнями.

Good morning, dear friends! You are again at school, you came here yesterday, have come today, will come tomorrow and a great part of your life is connected with school. You know that all children must go to school as they have to get knowledge, to become educated and developed people, school helps you to develop imagination and logical thinking and open the window to the wonderful world of exciting.

  So nice to see you. Everybody looks wonderful today. I suppose. Is it so? Make a compliment to each other.

Ps. You look great/ perfect/ wonderful/ stylish/ cool/ excellent/ fantastic/ cute/ charming/ attractive/ today.

2. A talk about pupils’ mood

T: The compliments are made and I think everybody is OK. How are you?

Pupils answer the teacher’s question.

We’ll start talking about school with the Chinese proverb: “Teachers open the door but you must enter by yourself”.

4. Вивчення нових слів

You know that not only teachers work at school, there are other employees. What are they? Do you know?              

Open your books on page 80 Exercise 1. Look at the blackboard. Read.

A headmaster [hed’mɑ:stə] – директор

An IT teacher [ai’ti ‘ti:tʃə] – учитель інформатики

A psychologist [saikɔ’lədƷist] – психолог

A janitor [‘dƷænitə] – прибиральник

A librarian [lai’brƐəriən] – бібліотекар

Учні читають слово з підручника і перекладають за допомогою словника.

 5. Game «Who said?»

                                                  (Вони запозичують лише книги, що знаходяться у списках їх читання.)

A librarian                                “The school council consists of pupils from each year

                                                    group, teachers and parents.”

                                                    (Шкільна рада складається з групи учнів кожного року , вчителів та батьків)

A headmaster                            “Some of the children have problems at home and some

                                                    have problems in class”

                                                    (У деяких дітей є проблеми вдома, а у деяких - у класі.)                                               

Учитель роздає учням картки з назвами професій та цитатами. Учням потрібно прочитати цитату і обрати кому ці слова належать.

6. Розвиток навичок читання

 T: Open your books on page 82 Exercise 3a. Учням потрібно прочитати тексти знайти відповідний переклад.

7. Розвиток навичок письма

Після прочитання текстів учні заповнюють таблицю

8. Пошукові вправи. Робота в парах.

З кожного тексту взято по реченню. Потрібно його відшукати і позначити відповідно.

1-ша пара

         He gets to school at 8.

         She works there four hours a day.

         The children are kind to me.

          They ask her a lot of questions.

          Children feel lonely.

   2-га пара

          He fixes taps or paints the wall.

          To make school a good place for teaching and learning.

          They can’t show what they really know.

          They are more into computers .

          I get a lot of ideas from my students every week.

  3-тя пара

          Some children come to the library every week.

          Children have IT twice a week.

          I’m very happy when they ask me for help.

          He first greets the teachers in the staff room.

          In the afternoon he repairs broken chairs or tables.

  4-та пара

          Some pupils study several hours a day.

          I think we are a good team.

          When she doesn’t  have classes she designs programmer.

           Some children come only once a month.

           He is very friendly and often smiles.

9. Інтерактивна вправа “Переваги і недоліки шкільного життя.”

“Advantages and disadvantages of the school life “

a) Write on the sheet of paper the advantages and disadvantages of the school life.

Учні працюють в групах, складають таблицю.

Варіанти відповідей учнів.       

10. Гра TIC TAC TOE

Students I propose you to play a very interesting game “Tic-Tac-Toe”  You see 9 squares. Your task is to listen to the sentence and guess a word after that you choose your favourite one and stand on it. You are a team of crosses and you are noughts. Let’s start!                            

1. Books, newspapers, magazines are kept there. You go there to borrow or read books (a library)
2. A room where you have lessons at school  (a classroom)
3. You use calculators to do the tasks at this lesson (Math)
4. A room where you can eat sandwiches and drink tea or juice during the break (a canteen)
5. You learn a lot of facts about different countries (Geography)
6. At this lesson you learn about kings and queens (History)
7. A room where you do exercises for your body (a gym)
8. You do a lot of experiments during this lesson (Chemistry)
9. You draw portraits and make different things during this lesson (Art)
10. You read books, stories and poems by different authors and discuss them (Literature)
