Тема уроку: «Winter holidays»

Мета уроку: Учні зможуть познайомитися з новими лексичними одиницями. Повторити та закріпити лексику теми. Потренуватися у вживанні минулого неозначеного та теперішнього тривалого часів. Сформувати навички діалогічного, монологічного та писемного мовлення. Попрактикуватися в аудіюванні. Виховати інтерес до погоди в різних країнах світу.

Обладнання : тематичні картки, звукозапис, підручник, робочий зошит, мультимедійна дошка.

Greeting and aim

Good morning dear students and our guests. Our lesson is unusual today. We met from different countries: England, Italy, France and Germany. They want to tell us where they spent their winter holidays. And what weather was like there. So let’s start.

I want to give the word to our guest from Germany.

      Hello! I am from Germany. I spent my winter holidays in Scotland. Scotland is a beautiful country. The weather was fine. It was snowy and frosty. There are a lot of mountains in Scotland. I skied there. I want to know what did you do during your winter holidays?

Teacher

Students look at the scene and listen to the song please.

Complete sentences

We went to New Year parties, visited grandparents, had a good time, went on a trip, skated, skied, sledged, played snowballs, stayed at home, went out with friends, helped about the house, watched TV, read books, celebrated Christmas. (учні витягують словосполучення і складають речення)

     Hello everyone! I am from France. I like to travel. So I travelling a lot. I spent my winter holidays in England. The weather was rainy and cool. It was windy. I stayed at a hotel and read interesting books about London. I want to know what is the weather going to be tomorrow?

      Ladies and gentlemen! I am glad to see you. How are you today? I am fine. I am from Italy. I came back from France. I have been in Paris. It is so beautiful. It was snowy and frosty. I played snowballs and made snowman with Frenchmen. It was funny. Do you know what weather is going to be tomorrow in different countries.
