Тема: Мій улюблений вид спорту.

Практична мета: повторити й активізувати ЛО теми, удосконалювати навички читання удосконалювати вміння здійснювати усне спілкування за темою спорт,

Освітня мета: розширити та збагатити словниковий запас з теми, формувати вміння вживати “play” “go” “do” з видами спорту.

Розвиваюча мета: розвивати культуру спілкування. Розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію.

Виховна мета: виховувати інтерес до спорту та здорового способу життя, повагу до одноклассників, інтерес до вивчення мови.

Обладнання: підручник А. Несвіт “English” для 6 класу; робочий зошит; презентація; пісня для фізкультхвилинки; картки.

Guess the theme of our lesson.

What are we going to do today?

The theme of the lesson is Sport.

We are going to talk about different kinds of sport, summer and winter sports, use verbs ‘do’, ‘go’ and ‘play’ with different kinds of sport, read and make up dialogue, play games and work in pairs and groups.

Work in pairs, match kinds of sport with the correct picture (card 1)

Which of them are winter\summer sports?

Which of them are team games?

Which of them are individual sports?

What is your favourite sport or game?

Do you like to play it or watch on TV?

Do you like to go in for … or watch it on TV?

 

Game

Let’s play a guessing game.  One person thinks of a sport from our list. And the others have to guess which sport is it. Use ex.4, p.85

 

2. Writing

• Do we ‘play football’, ‘go football’ or ‘do football’? (play football):
• We use play with the ball games.
• We use go with sports ending in -ing.
•  We use do with other sports.
• Look at your cards let’s divide sports into three columns

Alex: Hello, Steve! How are you?

Steve: I am fine, thank you. And what about you?

Alex: I’m very tired. Today is my sports day.

Steve: Oh, really? I like sport a lot, too. My favourite sport is football. What is your favourite sport?

Alex:  My favourite sport is swimming. I go to the swimming-pool three times a week. I also like to watch swimming competitions on TV. Do you watch football matches on TV?

Steve: Oh, yes! I watch all the matches with my favourite football team on TV.
