The statements (HO3)
1. Youth cultures are formed in reaction to society values.

4. These cultures give young people the opportunity to be something different before they agree and accept society’s values.

1. Looks and fancy clothes are very important for Julia. She is always in her search for identity. She sometimes spends hours in the bathroom just to get the perfect hairstyle or match the right outfit.
2. Baggy clothes and baseball caps are the most usual outfit for Peter and Paul. They are very good with words and rhymes. Basketball is number one for them. They love playing basketball in their free time, so school playgrounds are among their favourite hangouts.
3. Chris is picky about music. It is the centre of her world. Rock and heavy metal are among her favourites. She likes to join her friends at concerts of rock music. They are among her favourite hangouts.
