Topic: The UK Cities

Objectives:

- to develop students’ listening and speaking  skills;

- to deepen pupils’ knowledge about the variety of prominent places in Great Britain;

- to educate interest to the culture of England.

Materials: SB, map of the British Isles, HO.

Procedure

1. Warm-up

Look at the map of the British Isles for two minutes. Decide if the following refer to England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

7) Kent

8) North Sea Oil
