Конспект уроку з англійської мови на тему: "What is the weather like today?" 3 клас НУШ Мета:  Закріплювати вивчені лексичні одиниці з теми;  ознайомити учнів з новими словами та виразами і практикувати в їх вживанні:It is nice. It is beautiful. It is terribly.  Тренувати учнів у вживанні звука [w]  формувати вміння давати відповідь на запитання What’s the weather like? Та задавати запитання; Розвивати мовленнєві навички, навички читання, фонематичний слух, правильну вимову, розвивати навички аудіювання, говоріння, увагу, мислення. Поглиблювати знання учнів про особливості англійської мови. Виховна: Сприяти вихованню взаємодопомоги, дружби, інтересу до уроків англійської мови, виховання естетичних почуттів.

Тема: Seasons and weather. What is the weather like today?

Мета:

Практична:

Закріплювати вивчені лексичні одиниці з теми;
ознайомити учнів з новими словами та виразами і практикувати в їх вживанні:It is nice. It is beautiful. It is terribly.
Тренувати учнів у вживанні звука [w]
формувати вміння давати відповідь на запитання What’s the weather like? Та задавати запитання;

Розвивальна: Розвивати мовленнєві навички, навички читання, фонематичний слух, правильну вимову, розвивати навички аудіювання, говоріння, увагу, мислення.

Освітня: Поглиблювати знання учнів про особливості англійської мови.

Виховна: Сприяти вихованню взаємодопомоги, дружби, інтересу до уроків англійської мови, виховання естетичних почуттів.

Обладнання: ТЗН, зображення “The Magic train”, карта світу, погодні символи, картки із переплутаними літерами, презентація, фішки.

Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

Teacher: Good morning children! How are you today?

I hope you have a great day!

2. Warming-up

How is your mother/ father?
What day of the week is it today?
What month is it?
What season is it?

You are in a good mood and the weather is nice today. Look out of the window! It's....

P: Rainy, sunny, cloudy..

T: Today we are going to speak about the weather, about your favourite seasons.

We are going to play games, listen about weather, read the letter and learn the new words.

Phonetic drills
1. Listening the tongue twisters with the sound [w]

T: Listen and try repeat. (Audio 1)

Whether the weather be fine

Or whether the weather be not.

whether the weather be cold.

Or Whether the weather be hot

We`ll whether the weather

Whether you like it or not .

T: What did the sound you hear most? [w]

We need to create small circle lips [w]. Repeat.

2) Reading the tongue twisters with the sound [w]

T: Repeat after me.(together, one by one)

3) Game «Find the sound [w]»

(Діти плескають в долоні, коли почують заданий звук у слові)

(Діти виходять по черзі до комп’ютера ти вибирають слова які підходять до певної пори року та складають речення)

Autumn : rainy (It is rainy in autumn),

windy (It is windy in autumn),

cloudy (It is cloudy in autumn)

T: Let’s describe the weather in… winter.

Winter: cold (It is cold in winter)

snowy (It is snowy in winter)

windy (It is windy in winter)

1)(Вчитель показує зображення різної погоди і задає запитання: What’s the weather like? Учні відповідають: It is … . Слайд)

2)Game :” The train with letters”

T: Look at the blackboard. You can see The Magic Train with letters from children from other countries. One people mast takes one letter and reads it.

( На дошці прикріплений поїзд у кожному вагоні якого є листи від дітей з різних країн. Один учень дістає один конверт з листом та читає його. На карті світу потрібно прикріпити відповідний значок погоди)

1)Hello. I’m Kate. I’m seven. I have got a brother. His name is Biff. We live in Cairo. Today it’s hot and dry. It is sunny. The weather is beautiful.

2) Hi. My name is Peter. I’m ten. I study at primary school. I live in Paris. Today the weather is bad. It is cold and wet. It is rainy.

3) Good morning! My name is Robert. I’m 12. I live in New York. I am a pupil of the 6^th form. Today is a nice day. It isn’t hot but it is warm and dry. It is cloudy.

4) Hello. We are Jessy and Messy. We are twice. We are eight. We live in Sydney. Today the weather is not very nice. It is cold and wet. It isn’t windy but it is snowy.

By the way, we've got a email from an English school girl. She writes about the weather in her place. She is fond of drawing and she draws pictures in it.
