Pupil can write sentences dealing with greeting.

Pupil can recall and review the previously learnt vocabulary based on the topic ‘My birthday.’

I. Організаційний момент.

1.1 Привітання.

T: Good morning, everybody!

 Today we`re going to speak about birthday and birthday party. But first I want to congratulate one boy. He had a birthday party yesterday. Vova, I wish you to be a good boy and a strong boy.

(Happy birthday song)

1.2. Фонетична зарядка.

T: But first we need to revise some words and expressions. Repeat after the teacher the following words.

Phonetic drill

[ei] cake  celebration  game

[e] presents guest tennis

[i] milkshake symbol

 [u:] food

Now we are ready to organize the party.

T: Do you know what cartoon character has birthday in December? Look! Who is it? It`s Krosh. I have a letter from him.

Hello!

My name is Krosh. I’ll have my birthday on the 29^th of December. Help me to organize my birthday party!

T: Will we help Krosh?

T: Look at the blackboard. There are some preparation steps. What do we do first\ second..?

T: Let’s start with Step № 1.

We should write some invitations and invite the guests.

Step № 2 – clean the room.

Listen the song- Clean up song for children ( by Dream English)

Step № 3 – Cook food.

At this station you have to name the food for the birthday dinner.

T: What can we eat at a birthday party?

The teacher demonstrates the pictures and the pupils name the food they can see.

P: Sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, cookies, biscuits, and ice-cream.

T: What can we drink at a birthday party?

P: Coke, juice, milkshake and soda.

T: What do you like eat and drink at a birthday party?

I like…

Step № 4 -  get dressed.

What is this? Yes, it a birthday hat. (роздати капелюхи)

 So we get dressed.
