Тема :              Місце, де я живу             

                         The place where I live

Мета

практична: 1) активізувати нові лексичні одиниці з теми «Місце, де я живу»;

2) допомогти отримати інформацію про свою вулицю і село англійською мовою;

3) повторення навичок використання граматичної структури there is / there are (стверджувальна, заперечна та питальна форми);

освітня:  1) розширити знання учнів про лінгвістичну структуру англійської мови;

 2) вчити учнів мовленнєвої взаємодії в малих групах;

розвиваюча: 1) розвивати навички говоріння, письма, аудіювання та читання;

 2) розвивати мовну здогадку, логічне мислення, увагу довгострокову пам’ять.

виховна:  виховувати в учнів почуття гордості за своє рідне село та інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, до визначних місць нашої країни.

Обладнання:     підручники, робочі зошити, словники, презентація, фонограма до фізкультхвилинки, папір формату А1.

Тип уроку: комбінований.

T: What was your home task for today?

Cl: Our home task for today was to draw the plan of our streets.

T: And now let’s revise the sound [b]”. Remind ourselves how we should pronounce this sound.

P: Firstly we should close our lips and then try to open them quickly and at the same time try to pronounce [b]. And now let’s repeat the rhyme after me all together.

ІІ. Основна частина уроку

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

T: The topic of today’s lesson is “The place where I live”. So today we are going to speak about the famous buildings which are situated in your streets. Also, we are going to develop your skills in reading, writing and speaking. Besides, today we should remind ourselves about the usage of the grammar construction there is / there are.

2. Подання лексичного матеріалу

Ex. 1, p. 140.

T: And now look at the words in the box on page 140. Let’s repeat each word after me and if we find the new ones, we’ll write them down into your vocabularies. And now use these words to make up sentences like in the example.

Учні усно складають речення відповідно до завдання вправи.

T: The task for the next exercise is to make up sentences like in the examples. So look at the picture and write down these sentences.

Ex. 3, p. 141

T: And now make your dialogues with your partner about the place where you live orally.

 

 

3. Подання граматичного матеріалу

Конструкція «there is / there are» широко вживається в англійській мові для повідомлення про наявність в даному місці будь - якої особи або предмета. Даний вираз перераховує те, що (або хто) є в якомусь місці. Так би мовити "опис майна" або наявність живих істот. Слово «there» є тут "фіктивним" підметом, переводити його на українську не треба; чому саме воно прижилося на цьому місці - не так уже й важливо, тому його треба просто вивчити і звикнути.

Наприклад:

There is a pen in the bag. - У сумці (є, є, знаходиться) ручка.

There are children in the room. - В кімнаті є (перебувають) діти.

Зверніть увагу!

При повідомленні про наявність відомої вам особи або предмета в певному місці, потрібно сказати:

The pen is in the bag.- Ручка в сумці.

The children are in the room.- Діти в кімнаті.

Негативні речення:

There are desks in the classroom. - There aren't desks in the classroom.

Питальні речення:

Is there a desk in the classroom? - Yes, there is - No, there isn't.

Are there desks in the classroom? - Yes, there are або - No, there aren't.

And now let’s read about our village. I’ll give you the text.

Reading activity  

      Tysiv is a beautiful village. It is situated in Bolekhiv council city, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The population is about 3 350. The territory is about 7 285 km².

 In the streets of Tysiv you can see many high and wonderful buildings, a few of shops in even each part of the village. Also, there is a school, 3 churches, a club, a public house and the famous monument to Solomia Khrushelnytska.  There are a lot of streets in our village. The main street of Tysiv is Mykhailo Hrushevsky Street. In the streets you can see many cars, and many trees and flowers are in the gardens.

 My village is wonderful and special.
