Навчальна:

•          сформувати та вдосконалити навички аудіювання на основі відео;
•          активізувати лексику з теми environment, endangered species, extinction;
•          навчити учнів розрізняти поняття endangered та extinct;
•          розвивати вміння відповідати на запитання, висловлювати власну думку англійською мовою.

Розвивальна:

•          розвивати критичне мислення;
•          формувати навички роботи з інформацією з відеоджерел;
•          удосконалювати письмове та усне мовлення.

Виховна:

     -   виховувати відповідальне ставлення до природи та тварин;

     -   формувати екологічну свідомість та активну громадянську позицію;

     -   розвивати емпатію до живих істот.

І. Організвційний момент.

 б) Налаштування на роботу.

Teacher:
Good morning, everyone! I’m glad to see you. Today we are going to talk about animals and nature. Are you ready to start?

  

      ІІ. Мотивація навчальної діяльності.

Бесіда з учнями:

•          Do you like animals?
•          Have you ever heard the words “endangered” or “extinct”?
•          Why do you think some animals disappear from our planet?...

Teacher (повідомлення теми уроку та мети):

-Today we will learn about endangered and extinct animals, watch videos and think about how people can help nature.

 

     ІІІ. Актуалізація лексики.

а) Мозковий штурм: Учні називають відомі їм тварини, які потребують захисту.
б) Робота з ключовими словами, які записані на дошці (nature, animals, danger, people, protect, еndangered, extinct, species, habitat, pollution, protect, hunt, conservation)

Завдання: учні пояснюють значення слів або складають з ними короткі речення.

 

 IV. Основна частина уроку.

1. Перегляд Video 1: “Endangered Species Explained for Kids

-Перед переглядом учитель пояснює завдання та звертає увагу на ключові слова.

-Після перегляду учні виконують завдання:

 

1.     Comprehension Questions:
   a) What is an endangered species?
   b) Name two examples of endangered animals mentioned in the video.
   c) Why are some species becoming endangered?
2.     Fill in the Blanks:
   a) An endangered species is a type of __________ that is at risk of __________.
   b) One reason animals become endangered is __________ loss.
3.     Vocabulary Task:
   - Write down 5 new words or terms you learned from the video. Explain their meanings in English.
4.     Speaking Task:
   – What can people do to help protect endangered species? (2–3 sentences)

 

2. Перегляд Video 2: “Extinct and Endangered Animals for Kids” https://youtu.be/E5cVr3HdLa4  та виконання завдань до нього:
