І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу.
1. Організаційний момент.

T: -How are you today?
P: – I am fine ( so-so / not bad).

3. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.
T: - Today we have an unusual lesson. We’ll go on a trip and meet some fairy-tale
characters.
They want to know English better. These are the clown, some monsters and the Mermaid. Let’s help them to learn the words on the topic, teach them to read the texts, to describe the appearance. We’ll do this when we’ll visit different towns.
Let’s start our trip.
ІІ. Основна частина.
1. Активізація лексичного матеріалу.
T: - So go to the first town – “Town of Words”. Here we meet a clown.
1)Повторення лексичних одиниць.
T: -Look at the screen, let’s revice the words. Repeat after me, please. ( Вчитель називає слова, учні за ним повторюють.) Потім учні читають слова по черзі, перекладають їх ( a head, a nose, an eye, an ear, a face, hair, a nose, a mouth, a lip, a cheek) (a leg, a foot, a toe, an arm, a hand, a finger)
2)Вдосконалення навичок аудіювання.
T: - Let’s play a game.

3) Закріплення лексики.
a) T: -Look at the blackboard. You can see a clown and some cards with the parts of body. Stick the parts of the body on the clown and name them. (Діти виходять до дошки та приклеюють частини тіла до клоуна, називають їх.)
There are some words on the blackboard.
And now match the words with the parts of the body.
b) T: -Look at the screen. I read you some words, repeat after me and translate them.
( oval, round, long, short, dark, fair, big, small)
4) T: - Work in pairs. Do the puzzles. Match the words to make up word-combinations.
2. Розвиток навичок читання.
1) Пред’явлення текстів для читання.
T: - Now we arrive to “Reading Town”. Here we can meet three children. They want you to guess what toys they have.
Find exercise 2 at page 66. Read the texts and guess what toys children have.
2) Післятекстові завдання.
T: - Now children want you to do the task. Agree or disagree:
1. Teddy is Kim’s toy.
2. Teddy’s eyes and nose are black.
3. Bob has got a funny face.
4. Bob has got red hair.
5. Rob has got a big mouth and big ears.
3) Робота в групах.
T: -And now we work in groups. Each group has three pictures of monsters and one card with the text. Read the text and choose the picture of the monster. Whom is this text about.

T: - I think you are tired. Let’s go to “Relaxation Town” and sing a song “Head and
Shoulders”.

T: - The next town is “Writing Town”. Let’s meet the Mermaid. She has
got a letter from her pen-friend from England but after the rain some words
disappeared. Let’s help her to read the letter. Take the letter and fill in the gaps.

T: - Our last town is “Speaking Town”.
And the Mermaid wants to be our friend too. She wants to know what toys we have.

T: -Show your toys and describe them, please.

1. Підсумок уроку.
T: - We have visited many towns and met many friends. Whom?... What is your
favourite friend?
Look at the blackboard. There is a tree of mood on it. You have smiles on your desks. If
you are in a good mood, stick these smiles on the tree.
T: You have worked very well today. The most active pupils were … . Give me your day-
books, you get marks.

Your hometask is to speak about your toys.
