Тема: Journey around the city

 Мета: систематизувати та узагальнити знання учнів з  теми «Місто»;

удосконалювати вміння використовувати засвоєну лексику в усному та писемному мовленні;

формувати практичні вміння правильно вживати вивчений граматичний матеріал;

розвивати вміння читання і перекладу  текстів;

розвивати навички аудіювання, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, мовну здогадку, мислення, увагу учнів;

виховувати культуру мовлення, інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, любов і повагу до рідного міста.

 Обладнання: підручник, мультимедійні презентації, малюнки, ілюстрації, дидактичні вправи.

Хід уроку

 2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

Today we have unusual lesson, because we will make a journey – journey around the city. We will go by bus and do some stops. On these stations we will repeat the words, speak about our town and help a foreigner to find the way in the city. So, I wish you a good journey. Let’s start.

3. 3. Актуалізація опорних знань.

The first station is called “What is this”. You should answer the question and say, for example, “This is a hospital” and so on.

The next station is called “My town”. You should see on the photos and tell a story about your town. You may use such sentences:

The next station is called “How to get to…?”. You should tell us the dialogues, which you have prepared at home.

And now open your books on page      and read the dialogue.
