Тема уроку:New Zealand. Hobbiton.

Цілі. Навчальна (освітня) мета:

-розвиток техніки говоріння;

-розвивати у учнів вміння розуміти на слух неадаптований  текст;

- удосконалювати навички аудіювання та висловлювання;

-дати учням поняття про географічне розташування,природу,тваринницький світ та міста Нової Зеландії;

-розширювати кругозор учнів,познайомивши  їх з культурою Нової Зеландії (селище Хоббітон);

-формувати навички правильной вимови звуків;

-розвиток техніки читання та перекладу;

-навчити учнів робити усне повідомлення за темою ;

-ознайомити  з прикладами сленгу як різновидом не літературної мови.

Розвиваюча мета:

-розвивати мовну і слухову пам’ять,

-розвивати зв’язне усне  мовлення, творчу уяву,

-зацікавити учнів у вивченні іноземної мови,

-викликати в учнях позитивне ставлення до мови,

-вмотивувати необхідність і значущість володіння іноземною мовою як неповторним засобом міжкультурного сіпілкування,

-сформувати базові навички і вміння, необхідні для подалыпого розвитку комунікативної компетенції,

                 The village of Hobbiton

   The village of Hobbiton  is miraculous and magnificent place. It is located  in New Zealand. It is calm and placatory township, where you may enjoy the nature.

What can you see there?

    The village of Hobbiton is very interesting place in New Zealand. This area commends a lot of tourists every day.Being a tourist you can pay 75 NZ dollars and visit the village.

This countryside was built for the reason that the shooting of the trilogy «The Lord of the Rings».

   The director of the famous blockbuster «Lord of the Rings» is Peter Jackson. One day he conceived to make a film, but he needed a picturesque landscape to embody his idea. So he resolved to go off on a journey through the North islands.

Peter observed a farm named Alexander, flying the area in a helicopter. He was delighted this region and he understood he had found suitable location.

Peter Jackson didn`t want to make decorations from cardboards. So absolutely all the details are made of real building  materials. The holders of this farm were amused with the proposal of Peter. The building of decorations for the film began in 1999.

  It took a year to make these decorations. Everything was excellent!  Most part of Hobbits' holes are simply dummies. There is nothing inside, or just enough place for actors of some particular scene, or for a film crew member to shoot it.But  some of them have even the furniture inside. Most doors are just doors leading nowhere.

   It is evident that hobbits lived very simple, poor life. The farm workers look after the gardens. Butterflies fly about and it smells like in a forest.

       One of the views of Bilbo Baggings' home (under the tree). The door of the hole can be opened, and there is enough place inside just for four people. As for the tree it is absolutely artificial and to make it has costed more than a million dollars. According to the book Bilbo lived under the tree but there was no tree on the top of the hill.

     Those who have read Tolkien's books carefully know that the drawings on mail boxes reflect the owner's profession. About 30% of Hobbiton's visitors have never read the books, and never watched the films either.

   The whole village consist of the 44 hobbit`s houses, a mill, the arch bridge and the pub «The Green Dragon».

   After finishing of shooting the film, the decision to leave the decorations was accepted. The village of Hobbiton is bright green grass, miniature lakes, neat mounts, bridges and hobbit`s burrows.

How can you get to this place?

    It is hard to get to it. Firstly, you should get New Zealand, it is pretty hard. Then you need to drive a car to the town of Matamata. To travel from Matamata to Hobbiton, you need to get to the cafe Shire’s Rest. This cafe is allocated on the regionally highway. When you arrive this place, you should leave the car and take the bus which delivers tourists to the entrance to the village.
