Про матеріал

В розробці пропонуються різні способи вивчення і закріплення лексичного матеріалу з англійської мови за темою "Риси характеру". Здобувачі освіти зможуть удосконалити свої вміння та навички у різних видах мовленнєвої діяльності, розширити свій кругозір, збагатити свій словниковий запас, проявити свої творчі здібності. Цей матеріал може бути використаний учителями предмету «Іноземна мова» для учнів 10-х класів, викладачами закладів фахової передвищої освіти для здобувачів освіти І курсу.

Тема: Люди і відносини між ними.

Підтема: Особистість. Риси характеру.

Мета: активізувати і закріпити лексичний матеріал теми, формувати навички аудіювання, розвивати навички монологічного і діалогічного мовлення, виховувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Вид заняття: практичне.

Форма проведення заняття: дистанційна.

Хід заняття

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання. Організаційний момент.

Good morning, students and dear colleagues! Nice to meet you all!

Monitor, who`s absent today? … Thanks.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети заняття.

Describing our family and friends, we often tell about their character. For example: My mum is tender and caring. My friend is funny and talkative. And it is our today`s topic: “Personality. Character traits”.

By the end of this lesson you will learn new words on this topic, you`ll practice using them, you`ll be able to make up your dialogues and you will describe film characters. So, let`s start.

3. Уведення в іншомовне середовище.

Character is a combination of qualities in a person that makes him different from other people.

Look at this word cloud and name positive and negative traits of character.

ІІ. Основна частина заняття.

1. I created an interactive exercise for you on our today`s topic. Let`s do it together. Divide the words into fields: positive character traits, negative traits.

2. I will tell you a secret now. Your groupmate has edited and voiced into Ukrainian a very interesting video for us. It is like a video-vocabulary. You will see how new words on our topic are written, you will hear how they are pronounced correctly. You will watch clips from different movies and cartoons where these words are used.

Your task is to watch the video and copy the words from it in your exercise books.
