Writing Comprehension test

I.Read the text. Choose the correct answer.

John Depp, 1 who / which / whose / where was born in Kentucky in 1963, is a well-known American actor. He first became famous when he starred in the TV series 21 Jump Street, in 2 who / which / whose / where he played a young police officer. This role, 3 who / which / whose / where he played for nearly four years, turned him into a teen idol. II.Rewrite the sentences as reported speech. If necessary, change the pronouns, possessive adjectives and references to time and place.

III. Go through the sentences and change their tenses as directed.

IV. This is a part of a letter you receive from an English friend.

 

“I was given some money for my birthday but I can’t decide whether to save it or not. Are you good at saving money or do spend it immediately? Which do you think is best?”

 

Now write a letter of between 120-150 words, answering your friend’s questions. Do not write any addresses.
