My Family

1. Work in 2 teams

Pupils should write the family words. Time limit:  5 min.

Ask them to write words on the blackboard one by one from each team. Check up their spelling.

2. Show the picture of a big family for 30 sec. and ask questions about it

How many people are there in the family?

What is the mother doing?

What is in grandpa’s hands? Etc…

You can ask as many questions as you want. Make score of each team.

3. Pupils of each team get the pictures of the family and make ten true and false sentences about its members. Then pupils give the pictures back to the teacher and start reading the sentences in turn. Other team should say are they true or false.
4. Prepare the story about your own families (2-3 pupils from each team)
5. “Draw my family”

Pupils from one team speak about a family one by one say the sentences. Other team should draw a picture of their family.
