My Favourite School Subject

Відкритий урок на тему " MY  FAVOURITE SUBJECT"

Мета:

Навчальна:

- закріпити назви днів тижня, назви навчальних предметів  (Math,  Ukrainian,  Reading, English, Science , Sport,  Art,  Music),

-  закріпити новий лексичний матеріал за темою " Мій улюблений урок" ; формувати  навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць;

- удосконалювати компетенції читання, аудіювання;  усного монологічного та діалогічного мовлення;

         Розвивальна:

- розвивати комунікативні вміння,  навички аудіювання ,  читання й усного мовлення, логічне мислення, вміння працювати в групах, пам'ять, увагу;

- розвивати мовну здогадку школярів;

- розвивати усне  мовлення школярів на основі запропонованої  ситуації;

          Виховна:

- виховувати інтерес до навчання;

-  виховувати культуру спілкування, уміння працювати в групах і парах;

- формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі.

Обладнання: 

підручник Карп'юк О. Д., 3 клас, робочий зошит «Англійська мова, 3 клас», роздатковий матеріал для роботи в парах; демонстраційні картки з лексичними одиницями на тему «My favourite subject», сигнальні картки для аудіювання, роздатковий матеріал для написання розповіді про друга, аудіо- та відео-файли, відповідне технічне забезпечення уроку.

Тип уроку:  комбінований

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

   1. Привітання.

A song «Hello! How are you?»

T: Hello, children, I’m glad to see you!!!

Ps: Hello, teacher, we are glad to see you too!!!

    2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T:  How are you? How is your mother / father / sister / brother?

Ps:  He / She is fine, thank you.

T:  How are you parents /  grandparents / friends?

Ps: They are fine, thank you.

T : It"s nice to hear that. And now turn around and say " Hello" to our guests.

     OK,  take your sits and let"s  start our lesson.

II. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

     1. Повторення вивченої лексики.

       Let"s remember the names of our school  subjects. Look at the screen and repeat after the children. ( Діти дивляться відео "School  subjects"  і повторюють назви шкільних предметів. )

     2.  Запитання і відповіді про розклад уроків (перевірка таблиці в робочому зошиті)

     T : Open your workbooks and look at your school timetable. Answer my questions, please.

        What subjects  do you have on Monday / Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday?

      Ps:  On  Monday / Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday we have got........

III. Основна частина уроку.

1.  Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

      T: Today we are going to speak about your favourite school subject.

2.  Уведення нової лексики.

    На дошці записані слова : favourite |ˈfeɪv(ə)rɪt| , subject |ˈsʌbdʒɪkt|

      T : But first of all let"s learn new words. Look at the blackboard, please.

           Let"s spell these words.(називають слова по буквах)

           Let"s name the sounds.   (називають букви)

           Now repeat these words after me. Good of you. Write  these words into your vocabularies. (записують слова у словники)

3.  Уведення нової лексики у мовлення дітей.

T : So, tell us , please... What is your favourite subject?

Ps:  My favourite subject is.......

T : Thank you for your hard work.  Go further....

4.  Подання тексту для читання ,  ( с. 52, з. 1)

    Open your books on p. 52,  ex.1  Listen a text about Vicky for our good reading.

   1) Прослуховування аудіозапису тексту;

    2) читання та переклад тексту;

    3) усна бесіда за текстом; перевірка його розуміння:

     ( бесіда в режимі T → Ps)

-  Who is Vicky?

- What does she like?

- What is her favoutite lesson?

- What are her favourite days?

- Why does she like Wednesday and Friday?

Фізкультхвилинка

T: And now children stand up and let's have a little rest (a song «Every day I go to school»)

5.  Аудіювання.

            A game: Guess the word.

T: Listen to me carefully and try to guess what subject it is? Show me a proper card, please.

• We speak, write, sing  English songs and play games at this lesson. What lesson is it? (English)
• We count, do sums, write and answer at this lesson. What lesson is it? (Maths)
•    We do sports, play games, run and jump at this lesson. What lesson is it? (PE)
• We listen to Music and sing songs at this lesson. What lesson is it? (Music)
• We read books, learn poems and speak at this lesson. What lesson is it? (Reading)

T: Thank you for your work, children. 

6.  Робота в парах. Складання розповіді про друга за опорними запитаннями.

    T:    And now children, we are going to communicate with each other. Unite into  pairs  by colours.   Ask  questions to each other and then make up a short  stories about your friends.

Ps: ( Read their stories from  the cards )

 T:    Thank you for your hard work.

IV.  Заключна частина     

1.     Hometask.

T:  It’s  time to write your hometask.

2.     Marks.

You were very active and work well. You have got marks…

3.     Reflection.

T.  Do you like today’s lesson?

 Are you in a good mood now?  Show us your Smiley's  face with your mood, please.

(Діти відповідають на запитання і показують смайлик з настроєм.)

     4. Summarizing

         T. So, pupils, our lesson is over. You were working hard during the lesson. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
