Choosing a career is a very serious question. The most important things you need to make a good choice are diligence and an open mind. You can also get advice from parents, friends and classmates. How to Choose a Career?

Your chosen career should be a harmonious blend of your skills, education and interests. A self-assessment test is a great way to identify a starting place for your search. You could also take a formal skills assessment test. Step 1.

Join one or two temporary staffing agencies that specialize in your primary fields or interests. Several good ones, most of which are free, including those provided by the Internet. Be careful when listening to the biased opinions of other people about the monetary aspect rather than what would be a good fit for you. Step 2.

If you are young, career advisers suggest “temping”(taking a temporary job). Take advantage of the resources at your school`s career centre. Step 3.

Journalists make reports and write articles and I think it’s great. They always know new information and share it with people. My father saу that it is a dirty job because of the great amount of false information nowadays in our press and on television. I don’t agree because every job has bad professionals as well as good ones. To be a good journalist, I should be a well-educated person. So I should read a lot of books and be sure that I’m good at writing. I must enter the university and study hard there. It requires plenty of contacts with people and I like it a lot because I am a very sociable person and I can find a common language with anyone. Journalist

Journalists often meet and interview  interesting and famous people. They visit new places and have a funny life that is rich in impressions. They always know new information and share it with people. Journalists deal with real events that are happening right now. They travel around the world. They have a good salary . Advantage

The danger for life. Invasion of privacy of famous people. Fake information in newspapers and on TV. Not all events are interesting. Hard working conditions. Disadvantage

In conclusion I should say that the journalist is both interesting and hard profession. It requires intelligence, good writing skills and perseverance. Our future is in our hands.
