Teaching objectives.

Practical objectives: to train and improve four types of the pupils’ language skills: reading, listening, speaking, to teach pupils to use teaching materials of the previous lessons and new vocabulary to make a poem; to train the usage of rhymes.

Educational objectives: to expand the pupils’ knowledge of English as a foreign language.

Developing objectives: to incorporate creative thinking, team-work, to develop the pupils’ ability of using their knowledge in new situations, logical way of thinking, their readiness for taking part in the process of English communication; to promote their intellectual curiosity.

Educational objectives: to teach the pupils to be organized and to make a rhyme.

Equipment: Book, workbook for 3nd grade school with intensive study of English; cards; Internet Access.

Beginning.

Greeting.

T. Good morning children.

P_s.  Good morning, good morning, good morning to you.

     It’s sunny weather for us and for you.

T. How are you boys?

P_s We are ok, thanks.

T. How are you girls?

P_s.  We are fine, thanks!

T. Look at the sounds and repeat after me.

Cкладання чистомовок.

Інь – інь – інь – настала ...(осінь).

 Ок – ок – ок – йде у нас ...(урок).

Ли – ли – ли - гості до нас ...(прийшли).

  Самостійне складання римованих рядків. Робота в групах.

 Ти – ти – ти – ми маленькі ...(діти).

 Ас – ас – ас – дружній у нас ...(клас).

На – на – на – ми одна ...(родина)

Ex.1. (Vocabulary)

T. – Children, let’s work in groups! The first and the third group have their tasks on the decks. The second one comes to the computer. Your task is find out the words. You have 2 minutes. Start!

T. – Stop! Read the words and check.  Is it OK?

Моя родина

 Нема краще, ніж родина –

Про добробут сім’ї дбає.

Мама – наша берегиня,

Дуже добра господиня.

 А сестра моя школярка,

 Теж вже добра господарка.

 Мій дідусь теж не ледачий –

Влітку трудиться на грядці.

Все у нього до ладу

 І в горді, і в саду.

 І бабуня не сидить,

Кізку і гусей глядить.

 Я їй теж допомагаю,

Цю роботу добре знаю.

 Ну й щаслива я дитина,

 Що така в мене родина!

Ex.2. (Rhyming)

T- Children, let’s have fun.

The first team comes to the blackboard, please. You have the words on your necks. Open and read them. One word is green. Find the rhyme to it.

T. Good for you! So the first rhyme is……(see -be) happy, their. Thank you. Sit down.

T. – Next team now is your tern.

T. You are right! The rhyme is …..(mother-father) daughter, aunt. Thank you. Sit down.

T. I’m waiting for the third one. Start your work.

T. Good job! The next rhyme is….. (everyone-fun) autumn, aunt. You are cool! Take your seats.
