Цілі (Objectives) :

ПРАКТИЧНІ (Practical):

• Розвивати уміння усного мовлення та письма;
• Організувати оперування лексичними одиницями, що вивчаються  на рівні слова, словосполучення, речення;
• Навчити учнів слухати текст з вилученням основної інформації;

Виховні (Educational):

• Виховувати в учнів наполегливість у подоланні труднощів;
• Стимулювати та підтримувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.
• Навчити учнів бачити красу у буденності та робити кожен день святковим

Розвиваючі (Developing):

• Розвивати швидку мовленнєву реакцію, навички усного логічного мовлення, навички аудіювання;
• Розвивати довготривалу пам’ять, здатність самостійно створювати власне висловлення;
• Розвивати зорову пам’ять учнів, удосконалювати навички вимови.

Обладнання (Equipment): роздатковий матеріал, відео- та аудіоматеріали, картки для індивідуальної роботи.

Тип уроку(Type of lesson): Урок узагальнення і систематизації знань і вмінь.

 

PROCEDURE

І. Introduction.

Greeting and Aims.

T: Good morning, children! I’m really glad to see you right here! How are you today? I hope you are all right and ready for the lesson. A little mouse is playing now with us and it has a song for us.

Please, listen to the song and answer, what is the topic of our lesson.

Yes, today the topic of our lesson is “Soon is Mother`s Day” and we will prepare a greeting card for your mothers. Here are the white sheets of paper but you can decorate them with flowers. When you have a right answer I will give you them and you can glue them. So, we will repeat the clothes, the weather, the school supply, grammar material and prepare for the test

Aims. During the lesson you’ll:

• Repeat the topics “Clothes”, “Weather”, “House”, “School supply”;
• revise how to build the sentences There is/there are;
• work in groups and pairs;
• develop your language skills.
• create a postcard

Motivation. At the end of the lesson you’ll be able to:

• build sentences there is/there are correctly;
• use your active vocabulary;
• use your logical thinking, guess and reaction.

And you`ll have a postcard for your mother

ІІ. Main part

1. Game “Swat a fly”. Vocabulary

There are two swatters and you should swat a fly as soon  as you can. Children say [ʒ] and the teacher names the colour.

 

2. Warm up. Game  “Turn a wheel ”

Topics: weather, days of the week, months, family, animals, food. The pupil should name three words from this topic

3. Game “Pack  a schoolbag” (speaking skills)

Children work in pairs. They should choose the words from the topic “School Supply”

Book, rubber, ruler, exercise book, pen, pencil, glue, pencil case, sharpener, stapler, markers, felt-tip pen, paints, crayon, corrector.

Odd words: car, doll, train, plane, bike, ball, toothbrush, soap, towel, razor, shampoo, mixer, toaster, robot.

4. Relaxation

A song  “Hokey Pokey”

5. Grammar  game “A house”

A teacher draws a house on the blackboard  and  pupils furnish it using a construction There is/there are

There is a table in the dining room. (Attic, a balcony, a bathroom, a bedroom, a cellar, a dining-room, a kitchen, a living-room )

6. Listening skills. A letter from Inna

Listen to the text of the letter and match clothes with colours

My name is Inna. I’m 10 years old. I want to tell you about my clothes. I have some black skirts and white shirts. They are my regular school uniform. I also have some blue jeans and pink T-shirts, which I often wear when I go for a walk with friends. I have a pair of party dresses and I really like them. My dresses are violet, brown and green. I really like to buy clothes and want to go to the shop on Friday.

7. Game “A magic bag”. Vocabulary
