Мета: вдосконалити мовленнєві навички, створити сприятливі умови для заохочення дітей до подальшого вивчення англійської мови,залучати дітей до позакласної роботи з предмета, виховувати культуру мовлення таспілкування, розвивати творчі здібності учнів, посилити бажання дітей читати художні твори.
Обладнання:саморобна книга казок,тематичні малюнки дітей, костюми учнів, картки з завданнями.
Хід заходу:
Вед.: Казки вчать бути хоробрими і допомагати старшим. Так поводяться всі герої – молодці, принци,
чудо – богатирі й просто чесні та хороші люди – дорослі та малі.

Puff-the-Ball
The storyteller: Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman. One day they decided to bake a roll.
Grandmother: Look, grandfather, how lovely our roll is.
Grandfather: It is lovely.
Puff-the-Ball: I’ m Puff – the – Ball. I’ m yellow, big and sweet.
Storyteller: Then he met a Hare.
Puff-the-Ball: Hello! Who are you?
Hare: Hello! I’ m a Hare. And who are you?
Puff-the-Ball: I’ m Puff – the – Ball. I’ m yellow, big and sweet.
Hare: Good! I will eat you!
Puff-the-Ball: Oh, please, don’t eat me! I will dance for you. (Играет музыка, колобок танцует.)
Storyteller: And he runs away. Then he sees a wolf.
Wolf: Hello! I’m a Wolf. I’ m grey and I’ m hungry. And who are you?
Puff-the-Ball: I’ m Puff – the – Ball. I’ m yellow, big and sweet.
Wolf: I will eat you!
Puff-the-Ball: Oh, please, don’t eat me! I will dance for you. (Играет музыка, колобок танцует.)
Storyteller: And Puff – the – Ball again runs away and sees a Bear.
Puff-the-Ball: Hello! Who are you?
Bear: Hello! I’ m a Bear. I’ m brown and very strong. And who are you?
Puff-the-Ball: I’ m Puff – the – Ball. I’ m yellow, big and sweet.
Bear: Good! I will eat you!
Puff-the-Ball: Oh, please, don’t eat me! I will dance for you. (Играет музыка, колобок танцует.)
Storyteller: And Puff – the – Ball again runs away and sees a Fox.
Puff-the-Ball: Hello! Who are you?
Fox: Hello! I’ m a Fox. I have a long tail. Who are you?
Puff-the-Ball: I’ m Puff – the – Ball. I’ m yellow, big and sweet.
Fox: Oh, very good! I will eat you!
Puff-the-Ball: Oh, please, don’t eat me! I will dance for you. (Играет музыка, колобок танцует.)
Fox: Come to me, Puff – the – Ball. I can’ t se you.( Колобок подходит к лисе поближе и танцует рядом с ней.)
Storyteller: Then Fox eats Puff – the – Ball and runs away.
The Turnip
Storyteller: Once upon a time there lived an old man. Once spring he sowed a turnip seed.
Grandfather: Grow, little turnip, grow big and sweet.
The sun: Grow up, little turnip, grow up! It’s warm!
The rain: Drink, little turnip, drink and grow!
Storyteller: Look, there are green leaves on the turnip. Soon the turnip will grow.
Grandfather: Oh, how big my turnip is, how big! I must pull it out! (Тянет дед репку, а вытянуть не может, зовет на помощь бабку) Oh, dear! It's so big! So big! I can't pull it out! Grandmother, come here and help me!
Grandmother: What’s up, my dear?
Grandfather: Help me to pull the turnip out!
Grandmother: OK. (Тянут-потянут, а вытянуть не могут) Oh, Granddaughter! Come here!
Granddaughter: Yes, Granny!
Grandmother: Help us to pull the turnip out!
Granddaughter: OK. (Тянут-потянут, а вытянуть не могут) Dog! Dog! Come here!
Dog: Bow-wow! What’s up? What’s up?
Grandfather: Help us to pull the turnip out!
Dog: All right! (Тянут-потянут, а вытянуть не могут)
Cat: May I help you? May I help you?
Grandfather: Yes, dear cat! Help us, please! (Тянут-потянут, а вытянуть не могут) Little mouse, help us!
Mouse: I am small, but I am strong! I am small, but I am strong! I will help you! One, two, three, pull!
All: One, two, three, pull!
Turnip: I am so big! I am so sweet!
Cat: Our turnip is so big!
Dog: Our turnip is so sweet!
Little Red Riding Hood
Scene I
Little Red Riding Hood: My name is Little Red Riding Hood. Good morning, children.
Children: Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood.
(Little Red Riding Hood goes out.)
Mother: Little Red Riding Hood, Little Red Riding Hood! Where are you?
Little Red Riding Hood: I am here. Mother, What's the matter
(Little Red Riding Hood comes in.)
Mother: Little Red Riding Hood! Today is your grandmother's birthday. Take a cake, some apples and a jug of honey to her.
Little Red Riding Hood: All right, Mother.
Mother: Don't speak to anybody on the way. Don't stop in the wood and don't pick any flowers or mushrooms there.
Little Red Riding Hood: All right, dear Mother. Good-bye!
Mother: Good-bye, darling.
(Little Red Riding Hood goes out.)
Scene II
Little Red Riding Hood: How nice it is in the wood. There are many trees, flowers and mushrooms. I'll pick some flowers for my grandmother.
The Wolf appears.
The Wolf: I am big and grey. I live in the wood. I want to eat up Little Red Riding Hood.
Children: Go away, go away, you are bad Wolf!
The Wolf: Hush, children! He goes up to Little Red Riding Hood.) Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood.
Little Red Riding Hood: Good morning, Mr. Wolf.
The Wolf: Where are you going, Little Red Riding Hood?
Little Red Riding Hood: I am going to my grandmother. It’s her birthday today. I take a cake, some apples and honey to her.
The Wolf: Where does she live, your grandmother?
The Wolf: Is it far from here?
Little Red Riding Hood: No, it is not.
The Wolf: Well, good-bye, Little Red Riding Hood.
Little Red Riding Hood: Good-bye, Mr. Wolf.
Scene III
(The Wolf comes to the grandmother's house and knocks at the door.) Grandmother: Who is there?
The Wolf: It's me, Little Red Riding Hood.
Grandmother: Come in, darling.
(The Wolf runs up to Grandmother and wants to catch her up, but she runs away. The Wolf puts on Grandmother's dress and cap and lies bed. Soon Little Red Riding Hood appears near Grandmother house.)
Little Red Riding Hood (singing):
The Wolf: Who is there?
Little Red Riding Hood: It's me, Little Red Riding Hood.
The Wolf: Come in, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood: Good morning, Granny.
The Wolf: Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood.
(Little Red Riding Hood puts the basket on the table and comes up to Granny's
bed.)
Little Red Riding Hood: Many happy returns of the day!
The Wolf: Thank you, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood: What big eyes you have, Granny!
The Wolf: The better to see you, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood: What big ears you have, Granny!
The Wolf: The better to hear you, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood: What sharp teeth you have, Granny!
The Wolf: The better to eat you up!
(And the Wolf jumps out of the bed and wants to catch Little Red Riding Hood, who is shouting: "Help! Help!"
Grandmother and the Hunter, come in. The Hunter shoots and the Wolf falls down.)
Grandmother: Oh, thank you very much!
The Hunter: Oh! It's really nothing.
Grandmother, the Hunter, Little Red Riding Hood: That's the end of the
story. Did you like it, children?
Children: Yes, we did! Thank you!
Sleeping Beauty.
Place: The palace of the King and Queen
NARRATOR: Once upon a time in a land far away, there lived a king and queen. They were very happy. They had a new baby. They invited many people to the palace for a party.
KING: My Queen. We must tell everybody about our baby-Princess. She is a lovely little baby. What shall we call her?
Queen: Let’s call her Beauty.
King: Beauty. What a beautiful name!
Queen: Now we must invite the good Fairies to come and bless our little Beauty.
QUEEN and KING: My good friends, we are glad to see you. You are going to see the princess.
NARRATOR: Each of the 7 wise women had a gift for the princess.
1 Fairy: Beauty, you will have a beautiful face.
2 Fairy: You will think beautiful thoughts.
3 Fairy: You will do kind deeds.
4 Fairy: You will dance like a fairy.
5 Fairy: You will sing like a nightingale.
6 Fairy: You will be clever.
7 Fairy: You will be happy.
Queen: Thank you, good Fairies.
NARRATOR : Suddenly the witch came into the room. The King forgot to invite her.
KING: Oh, dear! We are glad to see you. We'll find a chair for you.
Witch: I am very angry. And I've got a special gift for the princess. At the age of sixteen the princess will prick her finger on a spindle. She will fall asleep for100 years. (She laughs and leaves.)
Queen: Oh, my poor little baby!
NARRATOR: The years went by. One day, Princess was walking about the palace.
Комната во дворце. Принцесса поёт и танцует.
Beauty: I am happy, I am happy.
All day long.
I am happy, I am happy.

Princess: What a strange little room. I must have a look.
Принцесса входит в комнату.
NARRATOR: She came to a house and found a small room at the top of it. Inside the room, an old woman was sitting.
Witch: Come in, come in my dear.
ROSAMOND: : Who are you? What are you doing?
Witch: I am making cloth. Would you like to learn how to spin?
ROSAMOND: Yes, I would.
Witch: Good! I will show you how. Put one finger here.
ROSAMOND: Like this? Ouch! My finger! I feel so tired and sleepy!
Witch: Yes, my beauty. It is the time to sleep.(She laughs and leaves.)
Queen: Oh, my poor daughter! My child! Look! She pricked her finger.
Король и королева плачут. Входит фея.
1 Fairy: Oh, King! Don’t cry. Your daughter is not dead. She is only asleep.
Story-teller: Then the Fairy went through the palace and the garden touching everyone, and they too fell asleep.
NARRATOR : The forest was like a big fence made of trees.! It covered the palace. Then one day a prince came from another country. He saw a peddler by the side of the road. The prince stopped to talk.
PRINCE: Hello. What are you selling?
PEDDLER: I am selling bread today. Would you like some fresh bread?
PRINCE: No, thank you. But I would like a drink of water.
PEDDLER: Here, you can have a drink of my water. Who are you? Where are you from?
PRINCE: I am a prince from a country far away. I heard stories about the sleeping princess.'Can you tell me about her?
PEDDLER: Well, she is sleeping in the palace. Some people wanted to find her, but the forest is too dark and thick.
PRINCE: Why is the princess sleeping?
PEDDLER: Some people say she pricked her finger and fell asleep. They say that she is very beautiful.
NARRATOR: And so the prince left. He came to the forest. It was very dark and the trees were very tall. At last he came to the palace.
Prince: What a dark forest! I have lost! I see a Palace! Who lives here?
NARRATOR: He climbed the stairs and looked in all the rooms.
PRINCE: I see people who are sleeping. But where is the sleeping beauty?
NARRATOR: Then he came upstairs, and at the top he found a small room. There he found Rosamond. She was
sleeping on a golden bed
PRINCE : Oh, What a beautiful girl! I must wake her up. Wake up! Wake up, please! Принц целует принцессу.
She woke up and smiled.
ROSAMOND: (sitting up) Who are you?
PRINCE: I am a prince from a country far away. I came to see you. In my country I heard stories about the sleeping princess. Will you marry me?
ROSAMOND: Yes of course. But where are my father and mother?
PRINCE: I saw them. They were sleeping, too. I am happy you woke up.
NARRATOR: And so the prince found the sleeping beauty. And the king and the queen and every person in the palace woke up. And the golden sun shone once more upon the palace.
