Позакласний захід "The Sounds of Music"
Запропонований сценарій позакласного заходу "The Sounds of Music" проходив в рамках Тижня іноземної мови. Передбачає участі в ньому широкого контингенту учнів різних класів. Заохочує школярів до вивчення іноземної мови, розкриває їхні таланти завдяки використання пісень англомовних країн. Самі пісні можуть бути змінені вчителем згідно вподобань учнів.

«The Sounds of Music»

Objectives: - to enrich students’ knowledge of foreign language using songs of
English-speaking countries;
- to improve students’ fluency in using language;
- to develop students’ creativity;
- to interest to the English language.
T.: Dear guests! We are very glad to see you here. Today we are going to have a festival “The Sounds of Music”.
Nowadays, we can hear music everywhere: in the streets, at home, over the radio, TV, Internet and , of course, at school because a lot of pupils are interested in music. They like singing, dancing, listening and playing different music: folk, popular and classical.
It has been a hard week, because all children have been working overtime preparing this festival for you. And now, we are going to have a good time…, a happy time. Let’s get it started! Let’s go…
G.:- What are you listening to?
B.:- I`m listening to rock music. I enjoy it very much.
G.:- Really? I also like it, but I`m listening to R&B.
B.:- Oh, it doesn’t matter what we are listening to. It`s important what feelings music can express.
G.:- I agree. I know one superstar. She is our classmate. Her singing doesn’t only express feelings but it fascinates and inspires.
B.:- Who is this?
G.:- Look, she is coming…
B,:- Kate?
G.:- Yes.
G.&B.: Let`s listen to her.

G.:- Did you like it?
B.:- Yes. It was great. I even fell in love with it.
G.:- Be attentive. Feelings can be reciprocal but often they are unshared.
B.:- It`s impossible not to fall in love with great rock.
G.:- But I know one style of music that appeared earlier than rock.
B.:- What kind of music?
G.:- Country. It takes its roots from southeastern genre of American folk music and Western music.
B.:- What? It`s very interesting. I didn`t know, that the Wild West enjoyed music .
G.:- Everyone loves music, because it helps people understand each other and it also unites our hearts. Do you like songs about love?
B.:- Of course. Love makes our life complete and full of sense.

B.:- Every girl wants to be bright, as well as, every boy wants to be strong, brave, courageous and high-hearted. And I want to tell you that it isn’t easy.
G.:- But, I think, that all boys were born with these features.
B.:- Not all of them. All these in fact who has got a loved person. He or she dreams and thinks about own partner even he sails far away on a ship.

B.:- Little.
G.:- Don`t worry. There is always a cloudless sky and a bright sunshine after a stormy day. And It can be not only in the nature, but also in people`s feelings & souls. Music and songs raise our spirits and our life becomes more colorful.
B.:- Yes, I think so. Let`s listen to our pupil`s singing.

G.:- Splendid! Did you have fun?
B.:- Wow, it was exciting. I remembered the time, when I was joyful, relaxed and happy. I did nothing … without lessons, without duties… at school and at home. Every day was like a holiday.
G.:- You were in your childhood, but I was at the disco of the 80s. My body was moving itself.
B.:- You always try to be older, but I`d like to be a little boy again.
G.:- Oh! Balls, slingshots, robots, toy-cars, bubbles…
B.:- Why not? Sometimes simple bubbles can cheep up and make people happier.

G.:- “The Sounds of Music” – is a magic power, that shows the beauty of the world, gives us inspiration, express our thoughts, hopes, dreams, sorrows and joys.
B.:- And singing is the best way to express yourself.
G.:- Let`s sing wonderful songs and be always happy.
