сприяти вихованню цікавості до вивчення англійської мови, почуття відповідальності та бажання спілкуватися англійською мовою, естетики мови й мовлення в англомовній атмосфері, дружніх відносин в колективі.
Обладнання: картки з фотографіями, тестові завдання, літери, англійська музика, навушники.
Plan
I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
1.Greeting (Привітання): T: Good morning, children! – Ps: Good morning, teacher!
T: How are you today? – Ps: We’re fine, thank you!
2.Aim (Повідомлення теми та мети): Today we’re going to play a game and to see if you are good in English. You’ll be organized into two teams “Girls” and “Boys”. You’ll have 7 tasks for your teams. The winner will be the team with the biggest quantity of points.
II. Основна частина
1.Your first task is to choose one of the pictures (1 point)
Each team gets two pictures, listens to the task and chooses only one picture.
1) for boys: Which one is the Buckingham Palace?
2) for girls: Which one is the Tower of London?
2.Make up words (7 points max.)
Each team has letters. You listen to the definitions, guess the word and make it with the help of your letters. Each team has 90 seconds.
1) letters for boys: t+n, i+a, k+m, p+e (green)

3.Show the song (1 point)
One person of each team listens to a song and then shows it to his/her team without any words. You have 90 seconds to show your song.

4.Who am I (1 point)
One person of each team gets a mask. He/ She should guess who is he/she while asking general questions and the teams can answer only “yes” or “no”. Each team has 90 seconds.

5.Put in a row (4 points)
Each team gets four pictures, listens to the task and puts the pictures in a row. Each team has 90 seconds.
