Treasure hunting

for pupils 7-9 forms

The story of hunting:  Black spider keeps the treasure, but angry witch stole his eyes. You must find 8 eyes and then the spider will give the treasure. 

1^st stage “Meeting”

Children come in the first meeting room and see the box with note “Help”. In this box there is the note:

Help!

I’m a black spider and angry witch stole my eyes. Find my eyes and I’ll give my treasure. But now go to find my web. It’s kept under the stairs in the dark.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Pupils find the next note under the stairs in the web)

2^nd stage “Web”

The next note says:

“Any quest starts with invitation. But our card is unusual. It has help on this picture. There are 5 things that you find in my help. Make a word from this letters and you will know where to go further.”

 

 

(Children must guess the word “water”. For this they get the first eye).

Now pupils go there where you can get water. (Canteen)

 3^rd stage “Crossword”

In the canteen children find the next note:

“You find the first eye. Here you find the crossword. You need to do it and find out the word which will show you the next location.”

(Pupils guess the word “sofa” and get the second eye. Now they go to find sofa. It is headmaster’s office)

4^th stage “Math”

Near the sofa there is the note:

“I see you do the crossword easily. Now we’ll find out how you can do sums. You need to find the number and then to match number with words and then you’ll know where the next stage is.”

(Pupils must get “40” and “staffroom”.  For this they get an eye and go to the staffroom.)

5^th stage “Mystic puzzle”

New the staff room they find the next note:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Pupils must guess that the next note is in the fridge for this they get an eye)

6^th stage “Freezing”

In the fridge children find the glass with ice. In the ice there is the next note.

“Find the odd picture and you’ll know where the next task is”

(The odd picture is TV. For this pupil get an eye and go to find TV)

7^th stage “Puzzle”

The next note:

“There is the puzzle. Guess it and you’ll know where to go”

 

    

 

(the answer “window”. Foe this children get an eye and find the wright window with last task)

8^th stage “Maze”

“The final is near with the prize. Know where the spider hides and follow it.”

 

 

 

(Children guess “the library” and get the last eye.)

9^th stage “Final meeting”

“All tasks are over. You need only to find me and return my eyes. After this you’ll get the prize)

(Pupils find the spider, glue eyes and the prize)
