Different people have different hobbies.

Life without our favorite activities and occupations would be very 

boring.

Hobbies give sense to our existence.

We could talk about a long list of hobbies and interests. These lists are different depending 

of factors like: age, sex, religion, family, background, education, personality...

The International 

Language Camp "BEREG"

  Hi! My name is Mary. This summer I had the opportunity to be a 
part of the international language camp BEREG in the town of 
Sergeevka. It was a great experience and it brought together people 
from over 10 countries.
  The focus of the camp was international friendship, team building 
and the English language.
  It was great being able to represent my village Utkonosivka among 
so many places. This camp gave me the opportunity to work with and 
get to know many different people. One of them  was my team leader 
Nathan Hendriks. I learned many things from Nathan over the summer 
and was able to improve my English skills playing different games and 
activities.

Hello, my name is Serhiy and I also want to talk about my time at international Camp 

"Bereg". I attended the second session and also got to work with counselors from other 
countries. I met people counselors from: USA, Turkey, Poland, Russia, India, Indonesia, 
China, Romania, Malaysia.
 

I also made many new friends from other places in Ukraine. We got to know each 

really well because we always walked as a team and collaborated in many different activities 
and challenges. Over the summer I made two friends and I still keep in touch with them.
 

This is my friend from China Simon Ling. He can speak English very well. He even 

taught me a couple of words in Chinese. I liked playing table tennis with him. I had a great 
time with Simon and all my friends at camp.

Hi my name is Ksusha! My time at “BEREG” was just as exiting. It was a great 

opportunity to put my English language to use. I was able to speak to many volunteers from 
many different places. During my two weeks there I released that we live in a big world but 
came always came together and learn from each other. I made such good friends and 
worked so closely with my peers and councilors that it was very hard to say goodbye. It 
was a very emotional time when the end came. I will remember my time at camp for the rest 
of my life!

We are interested in computers and IT

 Computers are the  future whether we like it or not. Some  people dislike computers, 
because  of the complications it takes to understand  the  basics. Computers are  not 
exactly the easiest tools to work with, but they are the most rewarding, and they are 
the future. Future cars will all be run by computer. You will be able to talk to a car and 
it will take you to your destination. Telephones are technically computerized. You will 
soon be able to talk to a person on the telephone as well as look at the person you 
are talking to on a television set. Also television is computerized. Soon we will have 
true three dimensional television. We will be able to watch television like we never have 
watched it before. We will be able to touch the characters, and feel the characters like 
they were in the room with you. For people who don't know much about computers, 
you will be lost in the future. You should learn what you can while you still have the 
chance, because things will  develop too quickly for you and you will not be  able  to 
cope with new technological events. Computers will fall into careers and our everyday 
life more rapidly then you think. 

We are fond of football

 We are the members of folklore ensemble and it helps us to keep and 
pass down our rich musical heritage. We dance just like our 
grandparents once did and our musicians play the song of our 
ancestors.
