Shchedryk in Home Alone. The famous Ukrainian song “Shchedryk”,is known in English as “Carol of the Bells,” is heard in the movie Home Alone. The music plays when Kevin is running through the church and the choir is singing. “Shchedryk” was written by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych. Today it is one of the most famous Christmas songs in the world, and Home Alone helped make it even more popular.
