The tiger
In India there are thick forest where the trees and the grass are very high. They are called jungle. The tiger lives there. He has a beautiful yellow skin with black stripes. He is very strong, stronger than the lion.
By day and by night, he watches the animals. When the tiger is hungry, he tries to kill all he can. The tiger walks through the jungle so softly that he can come up to the animal without any noise. Then he jumps upon it and kills it.
The tiger does not run, he jumps. He is quicker than a horse. The tiger swims very well too. When people hunt him, and he comes near a river, he jumps into the water and swims across it. In this way he often saves his life.
