Сценарій виховного заходу з англійської мови 

 

ДЕНЬ  СВЯТОГО  ВАЛЕНТИНА 

 

Практична мета

-   розвивати вміння вести групову бесіду;

-   активізувати вживання раніше вивчених лексичнограматичних структур.

 

Освітня мета

-   розширити знання учнів про свято Дня святого Валентина

-   ознайомити учнів зі звичаями та традиціями святкування Дня Святого Валентина у Великобританіїї;

 

Розвиваюча мета

-   розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію; - розвивати естетичне сприйняття дійсності;

-   розвивати самостійність у праці.

 

Виховна мета

-   виховувати повагу до традицій інших народів;

-   виховувати почуття ввічливості та чуйності у стосунках з товаришами

 

Підготовчий етап

          Підготовка до Дня святого Валентина розпочинається заздалегідь з виготовлення подарунків або листівок з привітаннями, валентинок, які за традицією мають форму сердець  чи голубів.

 

         Обладнання:

 Ноутбук, проектор, мультимедійна дошка, роздатковий матеріал, повітряні кульки.

1.            Dear boys and girls! You know that nowadays people all over the world

celebrate St.Valentine’s Day, a day for lovers. At this time of the year it is traditional for young people to send cards and presents with red hearts on them.

 

2.            Іn Britain more than 19 million Valentine’s cards are sent every 14th February. Some more facts about this holiday. You can also send flowers or you can write a poem.

 

1.     One of the early symbols of love is Cupid, the Roman God of love, who is represented as a young boy with a bow and arrow. 

 

2.     Valentine was a Christian priest in the Roman Empire 

 

1.     This is a legend of how St. Valentine’s Day began. 

 

2.     When the Roman Emperor Claudius II needed soldiers, he made a law against marrying because he felt that marriage made men want to stay at home instead of fighting at wars. But at that time there was a priest, named Valentine. He couldn’t agree with the emperor’s decision. When he saw that young couples were truly in love, he married them secretly. And then just before his death, on February 14, he sent a farewell message signed «From your Valentine».
